Every time we have waste, fraud and abuse it turns out that the Republican Party have their hand in it. Every time the taxpayer gets screwed its the Republican Party that blocks reform and oversight and they have the nerve to have tea bag parity so they can build political support so they can in act more waste, fraud and abuse.
yeah that's exactly the party that used fed money funneled into freddie mac and fanny may to make the largest campaign funds to democrats. Then after a well funded campaign they steal hundreds of millions and take a golden parachute ride out. Watching cnn is not educating yourself. find out who the real criminals are barney frank, chris dodd, ect ect
Unions and the middle class side with and vote for demarcates more often because they side with the Majority i.e. The middle class more often, and the republicans GOP sides with big business it is just true. Big business has money to buy votes and the middle class has Unions and organized labor for voting power. The working class has the GOP on the run. So I say keep them running and soon they will see its the majority that they should be catering to.
The top 3% ultra rich Washington power base are trying to divide the work force and the middle class, right to work states and union busters are dragging down wages, benefits abd political power for all the middle class and they are brainwasheing people in to thinking its a good thing. The current Wal-Mart economic model is driving the middle class in to debt, and out of jobs. Yes we need to have reform across the board, and we will not get it if we let the 3% guys divide us.
WTF as Americans we should be trying to raise our pay up, and not let dicks like the GOP brainwash people into thinking they need to drive down wages. The middle class will vote out the rest of the GOP if they dont get they head out of their asses. Most of the union busting going on is because the GOP ultra rich power base doesnt want the middle class to organize because when we do they get what happen in the last election.
Of those two..from what I've heard, Wal-Mart is a Republican company and Starbucks is a Democratic company. I'd rather work for Starbucks. END
Your preference for Starbucks over Wal-Mart only means that you would rather deny poor people jobs than to give them access to the best jobs that most of them could find.
Wal-Mart is a savior for many who face literal starvation in third-world countries. (These people are not interviewed.)
Well, I just said that's MY preference..and yes, I'll enjoy MY dinner and YOU can enjoy yours.
But..I did my research on both Starbucks AND Wal-Mart, and found out that Starbucks IS a Democratic company (just like Albertson's, who I worked for not too long ago). I would NEVER want to apply for a job at Wal-Mart..EVER.
To quote a proverb: YOU do what YOU like, and I'll do what I like.
Senator Byron Dorgans Videos:Crystal Ball, Iraq Waste Floor Speech, The American People Should Not Stand for This and Others The rest of the GOP should follow Arlen Specter leadership and become democrats. The GOP has a higher number of corrupted senators then democrats. We need more people like Senator Byron Dorgan and Ron Paul so we can cut out the waste, fraud and abuse. This is the only way we can lower taxes. We have corruption on both sides and we need to see thought the smoke and mirrors.

Wal-Mart is also a godsend for working Americans who are taxed into oblivion by the Marxist Dumbasscraps to pay for their socialist welfare and entitlement hand outs.
Here's to more companies following Wal-Mart's lead in dealing with union punks and troublemakers.
Bush narrowly won the November 7 election, with 271 electoral votes to Gore's 266 (with one elector abstaining in the official tally). The election was noteworthy for a controversy over the awarding of Florida's 25 electoral votes, the subsequent recount process in that state, and the unusual event of the winning candidate having received fewer popular votes than the runner-up.
Sorry but the majority of the United States (AE.) the MIDDLE CLASS thinks the bigger tax burden should be on the rich. END
This presupposes the notion that what the MIDDLE CLASS wants is best.
I responded to that by saying, "With this logic, Bush was the best choice for president in 2000 and 2004 because he was the person for whom the MIDDLE CLASS had voted."
Your statistics here are changing the subject, because they include non-MIDDLE-CLASS voters.
Sorry but the majority of the United States (AE.) the middle class thinks the bigger tax burden should be on the rich, if they want to manufacture items over seas taking away American jobs they should get the hell taxed out of them, if they bring the jobs back home then they get lower taxes and the middle class gets more good paying jobs. Then we will have less people on welfare and unemployment and the tax burden will be spared out across the population.
And the majority of middle class Americans thought that George W. Bush should have been elected president in 2000 and 2004--as evidence by their vote. By your logic, Bush was the right choice.
Many gop Senators and people like them will next want our military to take pay cuts and lose there pensions. Next the police, fireman ect... shame shame on them. Soulless Evildoer fools. They are like sheep to the rich, foolish in thought and mind spineless jellyfish,is what they are.
lets see,,,was it not a MUSLIM (plural included) that blew the crap out of the TwinTowers??? and you even mention Obamaaaa on you show,,,more DEMONcrating,,
So...Wal-Mart is willing to use intimidation tactics against Wal-Mart workers to stop a bill that they say will allow folks use intimidation tactics against Wal-Mart workers, because they are against intimidation tactics. But if you work for them, your job is on the line if you vote for Obama.
Anybody who believes that Wal-Mart has your best interest at heart would go hunting with Dick Cheney.
I am so happy that the public is hearing about Wal-Marts scare tactics. I have worked for Wal-Mart for 16 years. I had to attend the meeting(the anti union meeting) that Keith was talking about on his show. Wal-Mart is scaring their employees, and telling them not to vote for Obama. I asked some questions at the meeting I attended and it pissed off the HR manager that gave the meeting. I am now a "red flag", I am embarrassed to say I work for Wal-Mart. Its not the same as it was 10 yrs ago
Happy Labor Day folks. I am a 32 year member of a Union and I can honestly say that joining the Union was and is the best thing to have ever happened to me other than my own wife and kids. Any of you folks out there thinking about joining? I am free to talk to you. I will share my own personal experiences with you honestly. That is all I can do. To cap off my opinion...UNION YES!!!
fuck walmart and fuck republicans who support union busting. IF your a blue collar worker and this story doesn't make you upset then your brain is not working, or should I say your brain is working just like the republicans want it to. Not working at all!!
You should - your taxes pay for the health care of millions of this corporate pig's employees who are forced to use ERs for medical care - I'd rather pay more for my goods knowing I was supporting the economy and better working conditions for an American worker.
Why interview Christopher Hayes? Why not interview someone who actually supports this stupid policy? Just wondering ... seems sort of pointless, preaching to the choir. Let's debate it it with those responsible! Come on Keith.
Ok, I AM CONFUSED. Isn't having a secret ballot in the workplace a good thing? What does it have to do with the Employee Freedom Act? Can someone please explain it to me I would be very grateful
Nowadays, you have to elect to have a union represent you. The unions want to return recruiting to the old days when all you had to do was sign up because union-busting tactics by businesses are based on the election system.
I just answered that question. That's what they are leading you to think. Management wants you to defend the election process, so it can continue to fuck with workers through the process. If unions can sign people up as if they're joining a club (the way unions originally unionized workplaces), management can't campaign against the union before the election, and they would have to revert to criminal acts to get people to surrender their union cards (the way it used to - before elections).
But if you vote pro-union in a public ballot, and the union measure is defeated, what's to stop the Company from firing everybody who voted pro-union, as opposed to a private ballot, which keeps the losing voters safe from Company retribution?
There is no such thing as a non-private ballot. That is the phony non-issue that is meant to confuse you. The alternative to elections is paying dues and joining a union as an inddividual, and it is a violation of federal law to retaliate against employees for union activity or belonging to any other organization. Organized retaliation (old-time union-busting) is also a crime under RICO.
Ok, what you're saying is union members are safe from retaliation, but are employees who are trying to unionize also safe? Because if my Franchise gets wind of an unionization attempt, they'll just "clean house".
I buy stuff, use it, then return it there. I like breaking line trimmers by beating the crap out of them, but fyi, just make sure its totally drained of fuel or they won't take it back. Also, pay cash and give a fake name/address, because they record that.

"Taxing the rich" hurts all of us.
Many wealthy citizens and corporations employ, and taking their capital leaves them with fewer opportunities to create jobs.
Moreover, those who ignore the future need no assistance. Spoiling them ruins their lives.
Employment is good.
Think of those who work, support themselves, and save.
In so doing, our duty emerges.
REJECT BARACK OBAMA!!!
