I feel like it's impossible to get tired of this song. I've listened to it on repeat for hours at a time, but it never gets old. Sufjan Stevens is a genius.
This is actually the version that was played earlier today during the "Light Lunch" hour on WXPN from Philadelphia, and I was hooked. I've been kind of an odd kid in my generation, getting into the 1960's prog rock and psychedelia while my peers were getting into Van Halen and new wave techno-pop, so this one kind of showed me someone who still gets what melodies are all about. Sufjan has my vote!
I don't understand why this is more popular than the full orchestra version. FULL ORCHESTRA, people! Feel it.

so Beatlesque, love the homage to Simon & Garfunkle , love the combination of Banjo and Brass , the choral parts are very cool , I LOVE IT
