  • what rods and crank did you use? im in the process of building a 370?

  • @txh0tb0i972

They are teh stock rods and crank from the 05' block. I purchased the LQ4 from a very low mileage 2005 2500HD.

  • @LS1gun

sweet! im doing the same thing..... have you gotten any numbers dyno or track?

  • @txh0tb0i972

no numbers yet as right after I got the 370 in, I bought the Strange S60 for it and had to go through the break-in period. I will be getting some this spring though. FWIW- I know my buddy says it runs very comparable to his Procharged LS1 hawk on 8lbs of boost.

  • more videos please.....

  • @funguy7979

Will do. I also have a new Strange S60 rear in. Installed front QA1's last night.

  • what kind of lift / duration are we looking at sir?

    and compression? :)

thanks, nice car btw, are those 275s?

  • 230/232 .613/.598

    12:1 compression

They are 315's on the rear.

  • what color is that?

  • Medium Blue Metallic. The color was only offered in 1999 on about 2000 Firebird/Trans Am's.

  • love the exhaust coming out from under the car pointin down. sweet.

  • how much power are you puttin down?

  • Nothing confirmed from a dyno, but the guy that spec'd the heads/cam, the tuner and the guy that spec'd the shortblock build all agreed within the 475rwhp range.

I will get confirmation after I get a new (stronger) rear axle put in this spring.
