All this righteous indignation - but you copped a plea!
FUNNY!
JB the evidence against you was strong -- you did it, you know you did it, so you pleaded no contest and took the prosecution's offer.
You did the smart thing to keep your children's father from going to prison.
Face up to the fact that you are guilty of check fraud - the evidence was crystal clear - do what you must do for punishment, and get on your with your life.
By accident? You created a channel and named it jbisguilty! Oh, and you posted elsewhere with this moniker. And let's not forget your e-mails.
Remember the last e-mail you sent my wife? Remember all the "if/then" remarks pertaining to you, your alleged knowledge of the case and supposed access to evidence?
So which are you:
1. A public authority?
2. A private citizen lying about access and knowledge?
3. A private citizen who had access to and knowledge of privileged material?
You are allowed to request the date and times of the calls and then followup with a freedom of information request and receive copies of each of the recordings. Every phone line in a police station, even the administrative lines, are recorded. You have a right to hear those tapes.
I really doubt this whole episode is going to find its way to your trial. In that setting they have the burden of proof and would look very silly if they couldn't produce evidence
I record 911 calls for a living. With all 911 calls they receive ANI/ALI which includes a full address and phone number. This information can not be hidden with a *67. They should be able to review the recordings for that information.
I find it ironic that nation that decided idoloitry is so dangerous it needs a separate commandment commits adultery with their new gods: goverment institutions.
The ammount of worship that Law&Justice systems set up by man receive and the lipservice people pay to them is astonishing.
Besides. Why is it called Justics department? Justice is an IDEA and God's atribute.
You don't have departments of Love and Truth, it's called wealfare and education for a reason. So why Justice?
I'd be wary of sharing out too much information in relation to this case over the internet, it's just opening the door for this kind of harassment. I wouldn't be surprised if "Bob English" was just some troll trying to get you in trouble.
Also, they can't go off the caller ID they receive. They have to go through your phone records and show that you made a call to the police at the time they received a call from your caller ID, because there are numerous services that will spoof caller ids.
You could have easily made the call from a pay phone or somewhere unidentifiable, so it can make sense to them that it was you.
However, the phone calls should be recorded. They can easily identify your voice using police technology equipment. Your voice creates a frequency that their hi-tech equipment can identify would only belong to you. Force them to produce the recordings to prove that its not your voice. This shouldn't be so difficult.
Why wouldn't a defendant protest when police, without providing one bit of evidence, tell a prosecutor and defense attorney that a defendant has been harassing the department with phone calls under a false alias? Should we give police a free pass? The burden of "proof" in on them, not me.
Accusations without evidence? They know better. Americans criticizing defendants who protest obvious abuses of police power? They should know better.
I understand that "suspicion is sufficient" within our current system. I also understand that those in power don't care about how or if such a suspicion in even relevant.
But I certainly don't agree with the notion that suspicion should be treated as sufficient. I certainly don't agree that irrelevant suspicions should suffice for such intrusive action by the state into the lives of private citizens.
This is reality. This is what makes reality more frightening than fiction.
your preaching to the choir! I'm watching your case carefully. I've found recording everything with a audio recorder, and/or video recorder tends to scare most of these thugs away... or put them on their best behavior. where i'm from, we have a saying, "never trust a cop," i've found many cops to be uneducated bullies. they don't have a working knowledge of the law. just look how they illegally slip in and out of the separate roles of peace officer and enforcement officer.
it was a jovial affirmation of your statement. the lack of voice inflection in literature is saddening. actually looking at mine, i seem very angry... maybe i should get out of the bunker more often lol
Police use drugs.
Police are mentally disturbed.
Police are as necessary as welfare.
If you were a criminal or had some experience with the police you would understand that they are organized crime rather than crime stoppers.
Police are concerned about you.
You just might be really smart and in the right.
You are now close to public enemy # 1.
I have had mob cops who raped and murdered a girl and firebombed an honest policeman's private car nail my tires....

you have to understand that suspicion is sufficient in many "child protection" situations. and it doesn't matter how/if it is relevant.
