In phrase 1 you play E minor with an E flat in the B string -- so, apparently, unlike blues or Rock, the classical scale uses the perfect 7th instead of the flatted 7 as its leading tone ? Correct? Are there exceptions ?

I don't get it. Playing a melody on a guitar, like this, is remembering which string and which fret. On a piano, it's just remembering which key. I need some way to see the string/fret more like a piano.

I'm sick and tired of people always relating this to Tenacious D. They took this classical piece of music and put their own twist on it. I respect that. but people need to realize Tenacious didn't write it. Almost everyone who hears me play this always says I'm covering Tenacious D. I't just saddens me.

@Bigredmk23 I agree. I played the first few notes of this and next minute its ''thats off ermmm ........ ahhhhh Tenacious D isn't it'' Classico is mint and i do have to say but did you know its a classical song written by JSB? Tenacious D used the riff to there advantage.
