  • @leem2828 you talk as if all the rest of the schools didnt have the -5 bats an lsu were the only ones... their were no advantages with bats.. sorry lsu gets good recruits so QQ more plox

  • Goosebumps!

  • This is the college I want to go to in 6 years

  • blah blah blah idiot, blah blah blah moron, blah blah blah "i'm better than you." That is annoying.

  • I would be much more impressed with leem2828 and its posts if he could somehow ever learn the skill of punctuation. With all of those run-on sentences, it's no surprise you are associated with Northwestern St.

I sincerely hope you don't provide color commentary in the same manner in which you type your posts. Thankfully we are all spared from the opportunity to endure such torture. Now go back to your little fantasy world and dream about all those national championships the Demons have won.

  • LOL @ leem2828. Since anyone could have won national championships in the 90's, how in the world did Northwestern St. not win any? Now that's unbelievable, LOL!

  • lowell0404 is a typical imbecile who opens its little mouth and spurts out little turds that it thinks are facts. You know that someone is clearly an imbecile if it thinks winning six national championships, appearing in fifteen College World Series, and winning the SEC Championship fourteen times is the overrated team in college baseball history.

  • Leem2828, just how many national championshiops has that perennial powerhouse Northwestern St. won? Better yet, how many College World Series have they participated in? Northwestern St. defeated LSU in a mid-week game, so congratulations for that. You can come back when Northwestern St. actually competes in a College World Series, which will be never. Enjoy perennial mediocrity, little Demon.

  • What is that opening song?! Gotta find it

  • one more time in case you bandwagoner missed it......NSU 5, LSU 2....HAHAHAHAHA, AND it wasnt that LSU played badly, we 100 percent outplayed your candy asses

  • with the fastball in locations that no one can hit a 94 mph fastball. remember the swings that Mahtook took. how about the check swing on a 2-0 FASTBALL!!!! that is a glaring indication that you are overmatched when you are sitting dead red for the fastball and still cant get your foot down in time. Dont try to talk baseball with me man, i will embarrass you

  • @leem I'm going to follow some good advice someone once gave me, and that was "you can argue with an idiot" And you sir ARE an idiot. By the way, by forgetting baseball, I mean the ACTUAL game. Not memorizing nerdy statistics. Enjoy your irrelevance!

  • @mwadams16 hahahaha nerdy stats?? dude i could tell you things about the game that you will never know. I do colo commentary for college baseball and i could blow your mind with what i know about the game so dont try to go there clown. stats? hahaha please man. Take for instance Tuesday night against Northwestern st, we whipped yall's asses because we threw strike one and worked ahead in the count all night long, our hitters had the perfect approach by laying off breaking balls early in the coun

  • we picked up timely hits in RBI situations because our hitters understood what your pitchers were trying to do in those spots and we simply took the breaking ball early in the count since your pitchers could not throw it for a strike and when they fell behind they had to challenge us with fastballs and we did lots of damage that way. then we bring a lefty in out of the pen throwing 93-95 with location and all he did was use the overagression of LSU hitters to his advantage by blowing them away

  • Also, (while you're searching the Internet for facts you don't know) if there was a better team than LSU in the years they won the CWS why didn't they show up? 91' and 93' the bats weren't juiced yet dipshit. 96' 97' LSU had All-America pitchers, so another argument of yours is mute! 00' the same thing! If you knew anything about the game you'd know it takes good pitching, defense, and hitting to win a CHAMPIONSHIP! Something you obviously know nothing about

  • @leem By the way, thanks for checking out the video and commenting. You must have searched "champions" Something I'm sure that if you searched your team with nothing would come up. About those 90's teams you're rippin into... All the other teams at the time had the same bats asshole. So, your dumb comment about the bats being juiced is mute also. I can see if LSU was the only team swinging -5 back then, but everyone was. Waaaaaa! Waaaaaaa! Keep crying! Omaha is still an away game too! And so is

  • mwa, that is the funniest thing i have ever heard, you know more baseball than me? I would love to see you try and prove that? ANYTHING you want to talk about i will blow your dumbass out of the water, i GURANTEE IT!

  • @leem. Your argument is mute. You're an asshole who is butthurt about LSU's baseball success. Go on, keep looking for reasons to down talk LSU's fans and the program. Every time you post on here it just shows how ignorant you are. I've forgotten more about baseball than you'll ever know. Fair-weather fans? Yeah, every fanbase has their share you dumbass. However, not every fanbase has led the nation in attendance for as long as I can remember. Go on, cry about the LSU home games. Omaha is still

  • You clowns need to stop living on what this team did in the 90's the game was bullshit. Noone respect college baseball. You had these gorillas like Brad Creese and Brandon Larson using -5 bats with barrells the size of telephone pulls. You could get away wity playing god awful defense and having horrible pitching. the game was so watered down in the 90s you didnt have to be a complete team to win the world series. And that is a fact!!!

  • Spring is in the air and baseball is on YouTube!

  • name of 1st song????

  • two people are alabama fans

  • 1:02 gives me chills every time

  • I have season tickets to LSU baseball and this plays before every game and i still get chills everytime i see this

  • 2 people got sruck out in the college world series

  • There has been no better baseball program in America since 1990. Love it.

  • One word... INTENSE

  • Ma bad forgot about USC but still how are u going to say lsu is overrated

  • Comment removed

  • Get ready Omaha......we're coming back in 2011!!

  • @lowell0404 u must not know anything about college baseball cause id like like to know 1 team that has more titles than LSU cause theres none so please explain how there overated

  • @Wmt719 you're not doing a great job of showing how much you know about college baseball either. Do you really think no one has more CWS titles than LSU? Even the most novice LSU baseball fan knows this

  • to the asshole bitching about LSU not playing any away games and being the most overrated team is say this....LAST TIME I CHECKED EVERY GAME IN OMAHA WAS AN AWAY GAME BITCH. ALL THE SEC TOURNAMENT TITLES WERE AWAY GAMES TOO IDIOT.

  • @mwadams16 haha nice

  • @mwadams16 no dumbass! im talking about when you play another team on THEIR HOME FIELD, i dont give a fuck about neutral games. and go figure look at this year, getting yall's asses dominated in the SEC bc you didnt challenge yoursellves in pre-conference. LSU baseball fans are fairweather fans that really know nothing about the game. yall know that nothing other than the fact that the team is damn good, no taking that away. But actually watch the damn game and learn something.

  • i always get chills when warren morris goes to bat in this video

  • If this doesn't give you chills, than you're not an LSU fan

  • Anyone know the title of the first song in this video? Great video!!!!

  • More like 60% dipshit.

Also please don't get pissed because we have the best stadium in the nation.

  • Any team who plays 90 percent of their games at home would have the success of LSU. They are the most overated team in the HISTORY of college baseball. If they actually played games on the road people would find out how weak of a team they really are!

  • @lowell0404 I guess the CWS is at home too...

  • @lowell0404 BTW, you are a complete idiot. The envy is seeping through my computer screen. I love it!

  • great video. thanks for posting

  • FEAR THE BEARD!

  • whats the name of the song at the end

  • love these boys <3

  • By the way, I've noticed that you haven't stated a rebuttal concerning how the NCAA awards their regional sites based on bids and national seeding. You're mighty quiet over there, leem2828. Can I buy a vowel?

  • @krusso14 no i already answered that. my god dude you are slow. teams dont always host regionals by their seeding. How do you explain that Florida State was a 1 seed in their regioanl but had to travel to connecticut. It's all about who bids on the spot in the preseason. The schools that feel like their team has a great shot of making a regional will bid the most amount of money to host a regional.

  • @leem2828 The regional host sites are determined mostly by merit, most number 1 seeds host, but are also contested by bids from schools guaranteeing the NCAA a certain amount of revenue from that regional. I didn't say that a number one seed will always host a regional. I said that a number one seed that bids on a regional will usually host a regional.

Has Northwestern St. ever hosted a regional? Are you enjoying this LSU baseball tribute video that displays their six national championships?

  • "Tigers Win Tigers Win!!"

  • watch at 0:30

  • I saw a game where the dumbass called back to back pitchouts with a guy on 1B who had only attempted 3 SBs in 31 games. then i saw him waste his only two lefties in the pen in the super regional for no reason. he brings in chris cotton in an obvious bunting situation, of course the guy lays down a perfect sacrifice. then he brings in ANOTHER lefty with the same velocity and release point to face another lefty, no he has burned both lefties out of his pen for NO REASON.

  • this is what LSU gets for playing their first 25 games at home. Yea sure they are great at home when the other team has to play against their hostile environment but when they finally sack up and go and play at someone else's place look what happened. 4-14! Anyone can dominate at home but when they had to play AT UCLA they had no chance bc they cant handle the pressure of the entire crowd cheering against them. And Paul Maneri is a fucking joke......

  • @leem2828 Yup, we totally couldn't handle all of UCLA's 12 fans screaming at us. Good point...

  • @Harpwnyou all 12 huh? what a loser. Im wasteing my time even replying to such a childish statement. It looked like more like 4 thousand to me.

  • @leem2828 Haha. Well, that would be tough seeing as how Jackie Robinson Stadium only seats around 1,200. LSU fans outnumbered the fans of both UCI and UCLA during the games. And I seriously doubt that a school who's stadium holds over 10,000 people would be fazed by a few hundred fans "screaming" at them. Seriously though, did you even watch the games? The announcers talked about the overwhelming number of LSU fans their the entire series...

  • So how do you explain LSU, not being able to win on the road jackass? 4-13 in true road games, NOT neutral games, ROAD GAMES. Anybody can win at home. You clearly have never played baseball and don't understand the difference. When they play at home98 percent of the 10,000 fans are cheering for them so of course it wouldnt matter at home idiot! but when they go on the road it is a different story. Just give me one reason how you can go 30-8 at home and 4-13 on the road! you dont know the game!

  • @leem2828 How do you explain LSU winning the 2009 national championship on a neutral field, imbecile? On a neutral field, there is no home-field advantage, so all teams are playing on a level-playing field.

You really shouldn't follow college baseball if you're going to be so negatively affected by things you don't like or can't control. You'll have a heart attack before you're two years old if you're not careful.

  • @krusso14, ok krusso, let's open our mind here idiot. First of all I never said anything about last year;s team. As a matter of fact i made it clear that last year's team played their asses off and earned everything they got. I mean hell they went 27-1 to end the season. I am talking about THIS year's team. But while we are talking about LSU has NEVER won true road games in the post season. And what i mean by true road games is playing someone else on their home field.

  • why do you think they have NEVER won a regional away from home? Yea they are dominate at home that's great. But when they have to play someone else on THEIR field, not neutral, they are average. That is what seperates them from Arizona State, Texas, Stanford. Those teams get it done no matter where they play

  • @leem2828 Stanford and Texas are at home watching the CWS this year, just as LSU is. LSU has not played many regionals and super regionals on the road because they were usually the number one seed in the regional and a top eight national seed, thus they had the opportunity to host a regional and super regional. Schools have to bid to host regionals. The NCAA knows that LSU draws a large contigent of fans and they will make a lot of money for the NCAA, so if they bid they will usually host.

  • @leem2828 LSU hasn't had to play on the road much in the post season because when they make the post season, they usually win bids to host regionals because they are usually a high seed. Don't you know anything about how the NCAA regional hosting process works? Take your petty arguments about LSU baseball somewhere else. Maybe one day, if Northwestern is good enough, they will host a regional, assuming their ballpark and facilities are on par with what the NCAA wants in regional host sites.

  • @Harpwnyou check your facts buddy, there were almost 3,000 people in attendance for LSU vs UCLA, no it may not be the same as playing at the Box but clearly it affected LSU

  • Once again this year LSU proved that they are overated. Good luck next year, you guys won't be in the top 25 AGAIN.

  • @lowell0404 If this poster could only spell "overrated", people may take him just a little bit seriously. Then again, when a poster says a team that has won six-national championships is always overrated, you know that the poster's logic and credibility is seriously lacking.

  • make that 15 sec championships 16 visits to omaha and 7 cws championships and back to champs

  • @TheBrandonAdam

Im a huge LSU fan...but LSU didnt have a baseball "tradition" until the mid '80s. LSU baseball is like Miami Hurricanes football. This video is a bit over the top...making people think LSU used to be good in baseball. We sucked. I used to go to games in the early '80s with maybe 200 fans at the Box. Tradition my butt.

  • Awesome Video! What is name of the songs and what software video did you use to make this video?

  • i got the chills((:

  • buckranger, I knew coming into this year you guys would be in big trouble and boy was I right!

  • @lowell0404 hmm, what do you think about the Tigers now? I think you're overrated.

  • Great video Geaux Tigers.

  • Lsu is not even in the top 25 anymore. They are always overated.

  • @lowell0404 yeah, you're right-we are. i mean we obviously were last year because we didn't win the major league world series...

  • @lowell0404 "overated"? If you mean always "overrated", you have simply lost your feeble little mind. It's kind of tough to always be overrated when a team has won six national championships.

Please continue to make those general, asinine statements, neanderthal. You seem more like a fool to people with sense when you do so.

  • dude this video is just like LSU baseball. RAPEE

  • LSU is the shit

  • When you play all your games at home, you should be successful as LSU. How can you not be good when 90 percent of your games are at home?

  • @lowell0404 that's what happens when you have 6 championships under your belt.

  • @lowell0404 Actually this year it's 62% of the games at home. In case you haven't checked LSU leads the nation in attendance. Why would LSU go play a road game in front of 200 people instead of playing at a sold out home game. It's all about the MONEY. All of LSU's national championships and SEC championships weree not won at Baton Rouge. That's a total of 20 championships, LOL.

  • Chills is not the word for ... one GREAT VIDEO

  • probably one of the best videos i have ever watched(: COLLEGE BASEBALL CHAMPIONS! Love it and GEAUX TIGERS<3

  • I love LSU...Go Tigers

  • Love when hawthorne flips out

  • Those old uniforms are tight. I'd love to see a throwback night sometime this season.

  • dominated in omaha last year and we will again this year. i look forward to seeing them again

  • @phuskins back to back championships. I'm liking it.

  • chills

  • very badass video, other teams please dont hate on the lsu beastness

  • Geaux Tigers!!!!!!

  • Hey leem2828 I am so sorry that your boy friend dumped you last night! GEAUX TIGERS!

    15 CWS Appearances starting 1987

    6 National Titles!

  • and of course it didnt rain a drop. Come to find out they were concerned about their pitching because of how much they had to use of the weekend. LSU only wants to do things when it is convenient for them. If any of their fans knew what their players and coaches were truly about, they wouldnt cheer for them

  • to EVER get an at large bid to the field. and of course LSU got to host a regional somehow even though they were 37-23. LSU is an average team away from Tiger Stadium. Very beatable when they have to play True road games. I mean they were scheduled to play us on march 10, (northwestern state) at our field then they requested it be moved to shreveport, which now makes it a neutral site. Then the day before the game they call us and tell us they want to move the game to April 20th for fear of rain

  • @leem2828 How many national championships in college baseball has Northwestern St. won? Why are you going on and on about LSU? You would be much better served worrying about Northwestern St.'s baseball program, which just happens to be your school.

It seems to me that you are a bitter, jealous fan who apparently is butt-hurt about not having a Northwestern St. baseball video on youtube. However, you can change that by uploading a Northwestern St. baseball video here. Until then, enjoy LSU!

  • I hate talking to such an baseball moron like you. you clearly never played the game and no nothing of what you speak. Bitter? Hurt? it would make you feel better to think that way you dont have to think that there is any truth to what im saying. Look up the facts moron. This year's team was 4-14 on THE ROAD, not neutral....FACT! LSU has NEVER won a regional ON THE ROAD. You can try to make yourself feel better and say im bitter but facts are facts

  • @leem2828 Again, LSU has not had to play many regionals on the road because they were usually a high seed and won bids to host regionals. That is how the NCAA regional selection process works. Are you that myopic that you aren't even aware of this? You should conduct some research on how the NCAA regional selection process works instead of whining about things you know nothing about.

  • @leem2828 Since regional play began, LSU has played in 22 regional tournaments and have hosted 20 of them. They lost in this year's regional at UCLA, but they won the 1989 regional hosted by Texas A&M, when Texas A&M was the number one seed in the nation.

Therefore, leem2828, you don't have much historical data to support any argument you have about LSU not winning in the post season on the road. You may want to conduct more research and have some empirical evidence before you argue again.

  • oh excuse me, The super regionals! LSU has never won a SUPER regional on the road. 1999, they lost to Alabama, Eliminated bu Tulane in 2001, Eliminated by Rice in 2002, and then eliminated by Rice AT HOME in 2005, and eliminated by UCI this year on the road. So you see there slick. My research is just fine. I knew what i meant, i simple for got to type "super" LSU has NEVER made it to Omaha when they have had to play a road game.

  • @leem2828 Just be more specific in your statements from now on. By the way, not many teams win super regionals on the road, so LSU is no different from any other team trying to make it to Omaha by winning a super regional on the road. This does not by any means diminish the great tradition and history of LSU baseball. By the way, in case you haven't noticed, this is an LSU baseball tribute video, not a Northwestern St. baseball tribute video, so your negative comments are unwarranted here.

  • @leem2828 This year was a loss to UCI on the road in a regional, not a super regional. As much as you follow LSU baseball, you should have known that fact.

  • So there you have it, No wins in 6 post season road tourneys. Anybody can win at home dipshit. It is a true test when you can win games on someone's else field. And i don't mean neutral. I mean look what happened this year. Swept by Ole miss, ON THE ROAD, Swept by Kentucky on the ROAD, Swept by Florida ON THE ROAD.

  • @leem2828 What in the world are you going on and on about LSU not winning on the road this year? This is an LSU baseball tribute video, which was completed before this year started, and portrays the rich tradition of the Tigers baseball program and their six national championships. This is not a 2010 LSU baseball video, so your statements about this year's LSU baseball program are irrelevant. Therefore, continue to enjoy this LSU baseball tribute video and join in as we all say "Tigers win!!!!!"

  • @leem2828 LSU defeated Texas A&M on the road in a post season tournament in 1989. They have no wins in three road super regional tournaments. No, you're research is not just fine. In fact, it needs a bit more work, I should say.

  • @leem2828 i smell someone upset b/c they didnt get offered by LSU :/ Haters gon' hate

  • @slugga06 well buddy, i went to a school called Northwestern State, maybe you have heard of them, ask coach Maneri what he thinks about the Northwestern State Demons after we went came into your stadium and stomped your ass. and it was a LOT worse than score. we completely domnated yall's asses. HAHAHAH how sweet it was. Mike Mahtook will be having nightmares about Mason Melatakis. You remember, the left hander that came out of the bullpen and struck out TEN out of 13 hitters he faced

  • I played baseball at Northwestern State from 04-06 and we dominated at home too. So the helll what? but we played 20 home games and 35 road games. In 2005 we had one of toughest non conference schedules in the country. we played 5 teams that were in SUPER REGIONALS and 4 world series teams. Ole Miss, Baylor, Tulane, Rice, LSU, Oklahoma. Beat ole miss, baylor, and oklahoma, lost to tulane, and LSu. we were on the road for 3/4 of the season and bc of it we were the first team from our confernece..

  • it blows my mind how little LSU baseball "fans" actually know about college baseball. First of all, you idiots that keep saying "why leave a stadium when you sellout every game?" are you idiots so egotistical and stupid to think that LSU is the only place in the country that sells out regularly? Let's also think about this. They have this insane regular season record because they dominate at home. HELLO! everyone is better at home....

  • what kind of bullshit is that. i understand that all the big schools play home dominate schedules because they can. But to not have played a SINGLE road game and we are just a few days from April. What a Chicken shit program. Why not go over to Texas and play TCU, Texas, A@M, Baylor for a midweek game. GEt the hell out of the comfort zone like rest of the college baseball world

  • @leem2828

Well, there was a scheduled road game, but it was rained out. Granted it was still a game within the state of Louisiana. Now, as far as LSU needing to travel to prove themselves; last year their first non-home non-conference game was in Omaha , and we all know how that turned out. No need or desire to leave a 10,000+ seat stadium and lose money on travel expenses. Its business thinking. And in the 90s everyone was enhanced and the bat rules were different. Level playing field.

  • LSU has gotten where they are today because of the program that Bertman bulit in the early 90's from performance enhancement. Now fortunately for LSU the NCAA didnt have the same testing programs with the frequency that they have now. Those teams were dog shit on the mound, their defense was terrible, and they couldnt do shit with baserunning. but they damn sure could hit which saved their asses so many times. which brings me to this year......we are 21 games and FIVE weeks into the season and..

  • @leem2828 wow, sounds like you're just bitter because you weren't accepted or something. get a life man

  • @buckranger8 yea ok because a 19 yr old punk kid like you has a clue about anything...NO! Don't get mad at me for giving facts. Everything i said is true. they played their first road games 22 games into the season and look what happened. they are 29-6 at home and 4 -10 on the road. JUST THE WAY I SAID IT WOULD BE!! Dont get mad at me for being right

  • @leem2828 haha "19 yr old punk kid"? And I'm guessing you're an old man. There's no anger here--I'm just proud of where I go to school.

  • @leem2828 northwestern state huh. sounds like you weren't good enough to play at lsu. Let me guess you were good enough, but you knew how corrupt and how shitty the fans were, thats why you decided to walk on at northwestern state. you are like every other hater that throws out some fact with bullshit opinion. In the end you wound up at this site to watch the lsu dynasty that it is, if u dont like lsu dont watch our shit then.

  • lol you little shit haha. this has nothing to do with me. I could care less about my playing career. I played hard it didnt work out end of story. But i played the game the right way. we were not on cycles of steroids the way the lsu dynasty was. Hater? okay how is that. Facts are facts, i am not some blind dumbass fan like yourself that doesnt see reality. I said this year's team is bullshit and they are. Look at them, 4-11 on the road. 1-11 in their last 12 conferences games.

  • @leem2828 so what kind of FACTS do you have to support your steroid theory? so who was on steroids on last years championship team. i could care less if facts are facts, because its not all about this year, sure i agree there having a horseshit year, but who doesn't have bad year every now and then. And good call on them having a bad year, my left nut could have guessed that, they lost half of dozen kids to the draft. but, stay hot kid.

  • @TheKcard please dude shut the fuck up. the fact that you think you know baseball is a joke. "they lost 6 kids to the draft" whoopdi fucking do so did Texas and look where they are! Fucking moron! I hate people like you that try to talk baseball and dont know the first damn thing. Your baseball opinion doesnt matter to me bc i know TEN times more than you.

  • you know these people talking about LSU are right. I understand that they have a new stadium and they want to play a majority of their games there. But that is a copout. get your ass out there and play a road game. LSU is the ONLY team in the SEC that has not played a road game. so dont any of you give that the reason they dont is because of how tough the conference is. BULLSHIT! Everyone else is out challenging themselves.

  • my nephews are serious LSU fanstudents ;-) ..a few years back they told me about a game w/ midwest team (maybe Nebraska--hello Bo Pelini btw) that lost to LSU at home,

    perhaps a big post season game.;

fterwards, EVEN tho they lost, the visiting team RODE with TIGER players during a big celebratory post game tailgate party

--BOTH teams had a great time::

The OTHER team said they did it because they'd NEVER experienced college baseball atmosphere at that level for a non Omaha event..!

  • lowell0404, A school that can sell 10,500 tickets for each home game, and not take advantage of that resource, would be foolish not to play 38 home games. The program pays for itself, plus makes money. We have a first class new stadium with all the bells and whistles for the players to enjoy during their down time. LSU Baseball doesn't need money from the school, or the state to fund itself. We'll be ok, you need not worry yourself about us. Thanks for the concern though.

  • LSUMiketheTiger any chance that you could post the other 2 videos played during the games on the video scoreboard? They are great as well.

  • When you play all your games at home like LSU it's easy to have a good record.

  • @lowell0404 They play in the SEC which is the toughest conference. Win the SEC and you are going to be hosting the Super Regionals and Regionals. They don't need to play a tough out of conference schedule.

  • too bad half our conference games, the SEC championship tourny, and the CWS aren't played in Baton Rouge.....that would be awesome.

  • @lowell0404 They also played in the College World Series in 2009, on a neutral field, and won the national championship. There goes your brilliant theory.

  • god i just read this extra comment, you are so stupid to be 42 it drives me crazy? have you ever played the game sir? Be honest with me? have you ever actually stood in the box and have 10,000 people cheering against you? Have you ever had a 95 mph come at you? No of course you havent so what makes you think that you have a clue what you are talking about? You are just another middle aged self righteous man that thinks he has all the answers but even at 42 doesnt know shit

  • @leem2828 Apparently, you're the one who is so clueless, myopic, and blinded by his hatred of LSU that you failed to conduct any research on the NCAA regional selection process actually works. The NCAA awards schools with regional host sites if they bid on hosting a regional, assuming that they have a regular season record worthy of hosting a regional, and they have a high national seed. LSU usually meets all of the criteria, so they usually host a regional.

  • I'd be shocked if LSU even won half their games this year!

  • are you serious?? lol

  • ADDITION: It's why there is a THREE game series. LSU won two of the thee..usually "luck" isn't going to happen twice in one series. Sorry.

  • Geaux Tigers. Six National Championships do not lie. Luck has nothing to do with it, and if you knew anything about the sport then you would know that it didn't.

  • lowell0404, championships aren't lost in the first week of March. We were young last year and matured as the season progressed. Yes, we dropped a series against Illinois (won the 2nd game 22-10), but we found a way to win against 11 ranked opponents through the season.

Southern wasn't a fluke. We got base hits, ran the bases well, laid sac bunts, to get back in the game, and then the offense exploded. Baylor tied on an error, Ranaudo threw a great game, and we won on a bases loaded single.

  • lowell0404,

Tis, tis, tis, tis, tis...Rule of Life #1: When you win a Championship, "LUCK" has absolutely fucking nothing to do with it.

Rule of Life #2: "LUCK" is for losers.

Rule of Life #3: Being the BEST doesn't mean you beat everyone, but you WIN when you have to (see also the word "clutch")

Rule of Life #4: YOU are an IDIOT.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

  • Say what you want to make yourself feel better, but I doubt that anyone is ever going to look back and apply an asterisk to their 2009 season because of luck.

  • @lowell0404 yeah right dude, we had a young team last year and we still kicked ass. baseball is not a game of luck or chance, theres no one play that can be counted as "lucky" in baseball. its all skill. and we have it.

  • @lowell0404 LSU was the most consistent team in college baseball in 2009. They only lost consecutive games once, won the SEC regular season and tournament championships, and swept through the regionals, super regionals, and the College World Series prior to the national championship series.

They lost the Illinois and Tennessee series ay home, yet they won the Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Georgia series on the road. They only lost two series in 2009, and won nine of ten SEC series.
