Ivory Coast have good players, but their defenders seem to be very sloppy and leave huge holes in their defensive lines. You cannot do that against an Argentinian team that is loaded with top flight strikers.

The win was really luck because Argentina didn't threaten as much as Ivory Coast did and there were at least two penalty contests that didn't go Ivory Coast way.. This is coming from a USA fan who watched the game live.

the second goal looked very offside, but then again it was hard to judge from this clip. Ivory Coast is a great team and I think it's a pity they were in that tough group. Had they been in an easier group I'm sure they would've gone at least to a quarter final.
