It's not HD really.  Just smoother looking because of the options in the emulator.

Diablo. Epic design, epic GF. Wonder why he didn't become a legendary summon like Bahamut and such - it'd be nice to see him time and again in other FFs.

His only reappearance was in FF Type-0. Which isn;t exactly a main series...but epic nevertheless....

@salvaalmundo The plugin has an option to fix that. You should not go with the default options.

@getup2k Most bosses are immune to gravity. Gravity is treated as a status in FF8.

This video had such awesome graphics my computer lagged at 360 output. Seriously, kudos lilfrog5, because this is an excellent graphics demo. Sure, the GF summons were just eye candy (I avoid summoning them almost entirely in my recent playthroughs because once you know how to optimize stats, they're attacks just become completely unnecessary), but this graphics demo was beyond cool. Thanks for uploading.

Better mod the PC version...I don't get it,why do people play PS1 versions of the game,while PC versions do better than emulators?It's nothing hard to set up,get Samuel's DLS,put that,get FF8OpenGL renderer and FF8 launcher and it already beats this.

@Cyprinify the textures are smoother and it has a bigger native resolution, also the edges have Antialising.

u can do that with any Gf, its the boost abilitty

u just gotta level it up, if its not already unlocked(it depends on which Gf it is)
