@killicomaine Yeah if i wanted I could also make my own distro but I would still say that using QuickBoot and a custom nlited WinXP version without iecore and stuff is still the fastest possible and usable system. It just takes time to find the perfect setting for you but then you have a very fast system. Boot time like 10 seconds or so and everything lag free. Back then I hooked it up to my big TV and used some IR mouse and keyboard and it was great. HD wouldnt work but 480p videos were great.

@northpaw2000 I would say download it from the internet when you search for windows xp share on google BUT I wouldn't recommend you that because many releases are pre infected with root kits. You should ask one of your friends if they have a CD somewhere and then you can use WinSetupFromUSB which you can download for free from google. Then you would still need to use nlite to shrink it down. There is really much to do and much to read on the internet. It will take some time but will be fast :)

@JohnFortman Yes you have to find a proper framelimit. I used 30 in the video, which was not enough. The normal speed is 40 i think.

i consider if u dont want to spend alot of money yea then get a netbook only about 200 dollar if ur lucky enough normal cost about 250 for basix and 350 for more of a hard drive space but i got my acer aspire AOA110-1588 for 200 faly plus tax free shipping but down side only got about 30 gb hard drive space but if u think about it worth it a basic acer aspire unit is 250 and only about a soild 8 gb hard drive

Some of them are Emulators, others portable Versions of games.

i get the eee 900 HD in a few days...<3 :) very glad to get it^^ the small display is not thaat bad its okay i guess (i had a 700 for a short time to have a look at^^) but i also prefer the bigger one...it depends on what you wanna do with it probably^^

hey i have some questions which would run games better the 701 the 901 or the 1000 in the asus eee pc line of micro laptops, which can you upgrade the most, and which is faster for games solid state drives or normal hard drives

Go for Atom based eee's and regarding harddrive, the 701's had fast solid state drives but later eee pc's have terrible ssd's. Go for HDD if you chose 900-1000 models. 900HA is a really good balance of features. If you're thinking of the 1000 series also consider MSI Wind.
