Dave is VH. But I saw this tour in 2004. It would have been a million times better if Eddie was in his mind and getting along with Sammy. The tension on stage was so obvious. Oh well, we got Dave in 07/08 to make up for it...BIG TIME!

Yes indeed!! They both are good but for different reasons. Fact of the matter is most of my freinds feel the same way about Van Halen and always have. It wasnt until the net that we started to hear this Hagar vs. Roth stupidity!

The brothers screwed Mike in his last attempt to work with them, a contract of diminishing returns indeed....After that shafting, he left and never looked back. He's still too much of a gentleman to bad mouth them. Ed & Alex are out of touch with reality. And that reality is that their moment has passed them by and they were too trashed to witness it. Sad indeed....that such talent is wasted.

Mike Anthony is a good bass player, but a big role he played in the band was there backround vocals for all of their best songs! so what the fuck!? we need him back and sammy back too! Sure Dave is a much better show man, but guess what, he sings like shit, and sam can still sing great!

Two things here: 1. You hit the nail on the head with the role Mike played for Van Halen. Sure, there are better bass players. But Mike is not replaceable as a back up vocalist for the old Van Halen. Mike should be in the band. 2. What kind of drugs were you on when you inferred that Sammy is a better singer than Dave? Dave is the only singer for Van Halen.

Oh what I meant technically, is that sammy has much more range as a singer then dave, and that made Eddie for a long time because he had more musical ability to work with. I will give this to you dave fans... Dave is alot cooler of a dude if you ask me though! But sammy is a better technical singer hands down sorry guys!

Snowman, that would be a killer show if Dave and Sammy would get along. I heard after the first 2 weeks on the Undisputed Heavyweight Champs of Rock 'n Roll Tour, Dave and Sammy couldn't stand each other. That tour was just a figurtive middle finger to Eddie and Alex. I saw that show, too at Starlake in Burgettstown, Pa and it rocked.

Diamond Dave, of course, took home the title belt.....

The only reason that tour wasn't phenominal is Edward. His being too fucked up to play and acting like an ass ruined the entire thing. I fear more of the same for this tour as well. Ed and Dave fighting for ego time will implode the whole damn thing... besides, it isn't Van Halen without Mike!

Well, it started back with VH3. Edward decided he could play the bass parts better(mike only played on three songs for that album). Flash to the 04 tour, Ed didn't want Mike involved at all. Sammy had to threaten to quit in order for Mike to be a part of it... in short, Ed is a dick.

They ran that promo spot alot in 2004 because they couldn't give those tickets away. Half empty arenas were the norm on that horrible tour. They need Dave.
