i found this boss quite random u could say out the blue but to think if dmc 5 is connected to this perhaps thats the thing thats making him all 'emo' cause iv heard dmc5 is being made as a sequel not a reboot. i mean cause he talks to it like he knows it

Yes, but it's a risk, hit his projectile darkness attack back at him, but he can do the same with it when you repel it.

@the13tharcana Yes. Open at least two lights, then stand in front of the one you just opened. Doppelganger will attempt to turn it off. When he fires his dark sphere and it gets close to you (not too close) jump up and then Helm Breaker (Rebellion with Dante, Force Edge with Vergil) down. On harder modes he deflects it back. After his life is less than 1/2 of the his bar, he'll deflect it an extra time. I know on DMD Mode, he'll deflect it back 3 times and 4 times when his life is less than 1/2.

Doppelganger was quite easy on easy and normal, on hard the lights didn't stay on long (although the timer on their closing resets when you open a new light), it was hard to dodge his attack and open one before they close...

The Doppelganger is probably the most frightening boss in the game. Could've been in DMC 1.

The cubes r hard 4 most ppl huh?Anyway this video was awesome!Very well done.Also here is a tip 4 u U can counter the shot the Doppelganger shoots at u and u could send it back to him.But u need 2 repeat it again cuz he will counter back at u with a little speed.Just saying here.

I didn't fight that boss yet! Still climbing the damn cubes! For me the most difficult boss was Vergil,both times, because you don't have enough space to move and is as fast as you (maybe even faster) and better on swinging a sword! :P

Vergil is easy the first two times compared to the last time...all you have to do is roll or trickster out of the way when he teleports behind you then stinger him to stun him...then smack him around with Beowulf and repeat

well... it is easier the first two times, but it is not as it seems because most people that play this game for the first time don't upgrade their weapons, they just buy stuff like life stars. this is wrong, you must first upgrade weapons and atacks .

ps: the hardest part in this level is not tha stupid boss but to climb the damn cubes
