I cut a piece of tin foil as big as I wanted the heart, made it 6 layers thick, then pressed it onto my face. Gently pressing it to my eyes, nose, mouth, chin. Then my sister traced the heart and the eyeholes onto the tinfoil. You can also do it yourself if you have no help - you just need a mirror. without ruining the impression of my face. Then I gently cut it out
They're called Plaster bandages, And you can get them in your local craft store for about 2 pounds (english money) and i believe in U.S money its about $6
you can go to your local craft shop look for plaster wrap or rigid wrap(brand name) it is a plaster embedded wrapping material and it will dry to plaster hardness
Remember when you make the mask to make the holes for your eyes a little bit bigger, because the blaster bandage layers make them a little bit smaller! :D great mask:D
i was just at michaels and i couldnt find that plaster roll thing :(
cool mask btw :D

That was a neat project! Good job. Is it "Plaster of Paris"?
kolibad 2 years ago
Plaster of paris might dry too fast, we never tried it, but regular paper mache made with flour and water with newspaper strips dipped works great.

you know sometimes I envy these wholesome christian families.
since I come from a fucked up disturbed disfunctional family,I really envy these people..having fun with arts and crafts.
