Acer Liquid E Rogers (open-boxed unit)

Run away. Have had nothing but problems, am on 3rd phone, worst problem is screen cracked because i might have twisted it in my hands doing 3 button reset. This phone is way 2 fragile, heats up way 2 much, laggs here n there, battery dies in a day, plus many more problems. I hate this crap phone. Its cheap at the beginning but once it breaks u pay! This phone wont last long term unless u protect it with your life.

I nearly cried after this video because my liquid got stolen a few weeks after i got it :/..

anyway, do you have any idea why the stream is so much more expensive than this 1?

Stream is so much more expansice in the following reasons:

Bigger screen (3.7inch)

AMOLED screen

1GHz vs downclocked 768Mhz on liquid

Wireless N

Dolby sound technology (waaay better sound apparently)

720p recording

How did you get your liquid stolen? in the public? is it in Canada?

I want to buy this phone and I saw that rogers have it but I heard a lot of bad thing about rogers...is it good?

It is not about rogers or anything if you want just the phone, you can get it unlocked and use on bell, telus, fido whatever. But rogers in general should be ok as they are one of the largest cell phone provider in Canada and Acer Liquid is an awesome phone anyways.

Not entirely, HTC is a bigger company for smartphones, you might get something that is better over the acer ones. It is more about what you like. :D

I have seen the Xperia X10 AND the Xperia X1, X1 was horrible, X10 was laggy. Even with slightly downclocked Snapdragon to 768MHz, still beats the X10 running at 1GHz which eats battery like water.

At same amount of RAM, same CPU at different clock speed, same screen resolution yet liquid is a smaller screen, I say I go for the higher DPI from the liquid, better battery life, and it feels better in the hand too.
