jetfire wasn't a stealth bomber. he was some sort of blackbird jet. if you remember, jetfires vehicle mode was a long and narrow black jet whereas a stealth bomber is a stubby triangle shape with sectioned wings.

blackout was not in the movie it was a Decepticon named Grindor.

Grindor was a Decepticon greatly similar to Blackout from the 2007 movie. Grindor shares both Blackout's MH-53 Pave Low helicopter alternative mode, and his robot model

then that is a cheap way to get around redesigning a new character. who was bonecrusher then? he was shown moving across the sand in the final battle.

it seems rampant throughout the movie. the same type of construction vehicle would have the same colors even if they were different characters (construction vehicles that formed devastator were the same color and type as construction vehicles/robots that were fighting the humans/autobots). It got confusing but I guess the decepticons only scanned a handful of vehicles which forced some to 'share' disguise types.

You can't just create new characters and design them and do all that stuff.

Movies have a set budget for certain things, they just reused models in other scenes to save time and money.

Can easily be explained by saying that the 'cons just use the same alt mode.

i think we all know that they just did that to sell more toys and use the same figures with just repaints. save money on the CG but they could have explained it. people tring to follow who is who got totally lost.

I think they needed sam to find the matrix to turn on the 'sun destroyer'.

What I didn't get was that megatron was supposedly looking for the allspark in the first movie. Yet when he speaks to the fallen it seems that his mission all along was to get the matrix.

Man you are THE funniest person on here bar none, I agree with a lot of your points, the film is riddled with holes and if I were Hasbro I'd be livid with this film. How do you market a line of toys that transform on a film where there a suprisingly few on screen transformations and where a franchise that relies on character to sell toys has a film where half the time you can't tell the robots apart. To say I'm disappointed with what this film has done to my hobby is an understatement!!!!
