This woman and her amazing God-gifted voice are the reason why I fell in love with Irish music almost twenty years ago , and why I am still in love with it now.
I loved this movie i first watched it on millenium chorus dvd and now ive gotten it memorized so well im gnna sing it infront of my church for the passion of the christ play i cry every time i listen to this song its so beautiful so thank u to the people who made it possible for me to see it again because i lost my dvd
Beautiful voice. I have no interest in the religious aspect, but she definitely has a beautiful voice. Her, Enya, Loreena MeKennit (prob. spelled that wrong) have such beautiful voices. (^_^)
By the way, mrAZcardinal, if by "British", you mean is Moya a person who gives her all to be her best at what she does (which, of course, is fine music), then I guess she's extremely British (which, in the music industry, places her amongst a rather large group, as whatever their other plusses and minuses, their are a lot of fine Brits in the music industry ).
@Sportymike Don't be ridiculous. Moya is a reknown philanthropist and as a British person I have met her a few times and know her to be a most loving human being. Don't spoil a beautiful thing with your own political agenda.
moya is alot different than enya... just their music definitly shows it.. the music paints a picture as moya the more older/responsible, traditional, and wiser one and enya the younger and different one in the family...
Enya has 'acknowledged' god in the song 'Athair ar Neamh' which translates as Father in Heaven, and the lines that stand out to me are 'moraim tu, o lá go lá, moraim tu o oíche go h'oíche', I praise You day by day, I praise you night by night'
This is one of my favourite songs that moya ever recorded- now i have a favourite video to go with it. Utterly fabulous stuff- those shots of moya dancing about in the waves are so lovely! I adore this video- it's brought a tear to my eye just watching it. :)Thanks so much for uploading it.
Had never even heard this song, so seeing the video and hearing the song was great! Wonderful lyrics...the style reminds me of the "New Irish Hymns" album

What are you talking about? Enya and Moya were brought up in a strict Catholic household and were members of their mother's choir and still are...
Sportymike 2 years ago 2
I thought enya was catholic and moya considered herself a christian but isn't born again? not sure :)
GodzGothika92 2 years ago
Moya considers herself born again after some turbulent years, when she decided to give her life to Christ.
