is this the proper version from the unreleased rehearsal tape ? I've always wanted to hear that but it fades off on heart and soul .if it is then superb but it still sounds strange bur maybe that's how it was and there never will be a better version

@ALDERSONPHIL likely there were about five rehearsal takes, this is a patched up version by me, using heart and soul, then the unreleased 30 second clip 'hangman looks round etc, then cut/paste/joined the latter part from the clip and added effects to y roughly copy the new order 7 inch version which seems very likely how the joy division version would have turned out, there are obvious limits as the clip was deliberately spliced and of low quality. rumours of high quality version in vaults !

@wudsiba i go ithe 25 second unreleased clip from some bloke off facebook who got it from someone who got it from joy division central where it was released for one day then removed, originally it would come from peter hooks tape recorder who apparently gave it to steve morris, who gave it to someone else for the heart and soul release. Basically i have done a cut and paste job with the clip and heart and soul clip with some added effects.
