  • ...I'm 60. Permanently disabled. Slo-oo-ly dying & stuck permanently in a friggin' electric, eclectic, adjustable(tho it hurts to move) medical-bed. However, I am STILL a cousin to these crazy, funny long-haired-&-stoned-as-I-am-still! & tonite I'm gonna hobble out to my rubber-poncho tent on th' deck-lounge-swing w/a cigar, beer. hot java & some POT-even tho' th' U.S. NAZIs(& they R) force doc's to do Unconstitutional pisstests[th' fo' Fathers grew n' smoked it & made booze 2]-I TOKE! FUGG'EM!!

  • I remember having this poster. Loved it.

  • SO much fun to watch over and over when you're stoned. As a huge stoner m'self, it's been years since I've actually been that stoned, but it's good to KIND of feel that way agin.

  • That was pretty good shit.

  • cool

  • this is weird even when youre not stoned

  • haha this is so me! what kind of music is this bro?

  • Scrambled brains for breakfast, wakin' and bakin' and achin' to be...

  • i love robert crumb! i actually have a blacklight poster of this in my room. i always laugh at it before i go to sleep :) nice anmation!!!

  • That just blew my freeloving mind~

  • I always wondered why media figures always make getting stoned out to be so dramatic. Anybody else ever wonder about that?

  • @subsamadhi: The same reason media figures make sex out to be so dramatic. The real deal, while undeniably great for the participants, is really not that great for someone not involved (people will deny that up and down the street, but it's true). This is even more true for getting stoned, because the only person who can really experience being stoned is...you know...the guy or gal that's stoned. Therefore, it's necessary to blow it out proportion for the sake of the viewer.

  • where's the munchies?

  • been there, felt that,gone out,no fun

  • my uncle had this up on his wall in the early 90s/late 80s

  • @TheBrowndawg It predates the early 90s/late 80s...its from the 60s, of course. :D

  • It's Stupid Time!

  • The best medicine for sadness is R. Crumb pictures. He's proof you can be human in a world that tries to take being absolutely wrong one day at a time.

  • He looks burned-out, one big shout-out to all who had this poster on their wall in the 70's. Stoned again!

  • I saw this on a poster at a comic book store. And I think GPK parodied this.

  • R. Crumb did some AWESOME artwork in the 60's and 70's.

  • Can't we all just get a bong!

  • @tonkehar clever. . . a bit slow tonight i am, so i got the sentiment before the play on words and i liKe both.

  • @jimmysudar ha,ha......cool!

  • I had this from the original ZAP COMICS. My mother found them one day in my dresser and threw them out!

  • R. Crumb rocks. His art was everywhere in the 60's and 70's. I wish I still had my comic books, Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers , Little Annie Fannie, Darn Old Duck.

  • THIS is the kind of vision going through my head the first time I tripped REAL hard on acid.

  • Tee hee, nice job man ^^ Could you tell me where you got the music from?

  • I relate to this only too well..lol...stoned again!!

  • reminds me somehow on the stoned feeling. i wish i had now something with me

  • How true it is

  • Is how innard ov head feel after drinking kitty cat spit.

  • wicked!!

  • the orginal art was robert's lsd parody

  • this is great!!

  • Ja so ist das.

  • whoa! dude melted! that's trippy as shit

  • It gave me the giggles.

  • Nice job on making Robert Crumb's Stoned Again come Alive.

  • His dealer must have been a shadowpriest.

  • @Yony42 I find that offensive, don't make me mind control you into doing something you wouldn't do.

  • @Yony42

    Dumbest comment ever.

  • @Yony42 hehe so true looks like mind fray melds that guy's face

  • loved the graphic, but reminds me why I stopped smoking the stuff decades ago.

  • looks kinda sad to me

  • I had a black light poster with this on it back in the early 1990's..you can get one today on ebay for like $10

  • good job awesome acid trip

  • nice jeorb

  • I would really love this poster, is it rare ? Does anyone know where I could find a print ?

  • The original probably would sell on e-bay for more money than just about anyone could afford, But I'm sure there were countless reproductions of it made,

I remember seeing lots of copies of it and the 'Don't Forget To Wipe Your A**' poster back in the 1970s-1980s,

Kitchen Sink used to reproduce alot of Crumb's iconic art,

(shrug) I guess you'll just havet to look around, Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  • @cha5 The "Don't Forget to Wipe Your Ass" comment was from Crumb's illustration of "Tommy Toilet".

  • @rolko52 Oh yeah! and great hygenic advice it was for the hippy era flower children of the late 1960s.Wheither it was subjects like "Don't Forget To Wipe Your Ass" or "Speed Kills" in his comix,

Crumb never had any problems with constructive cautionary advice for his readers :)

  • @cha5 You can also add "race relations". I remember roaring with laughter at "Angelfood McSpade".

  • @rolko52 The characters I remember dealing with racism really more than anything else had to be "Angelfood McSpade" and "Whiteman"

"How could they do this to me...I'm Whiteman!

    "Yeah, well liz'n bud!"

"You jis a n****r like eva body else!"

    "But I..."

    "No more! no less, mutha"

This was done just before MLK was assassinated

and for me it's still a pretty powerful strip IMHO.

(plus Whiteman was modeled after Crumb's own real life father)

  • pretty cool

  • What thevm fuck happened to his FACE?!?! why did it melt????

  • duuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *saliva dribbles down face*
