Always remember: You cant reason with the ignorant. People will always protest against what ever they "think" is the right cause with no reguard to the outcome should they succed. The best thing to do is ignore them, don't encourage them, don't pay any attation to them of any such sort, it will only make matters worse. They feed off the attention they recieve. Ken Fowler: so, your belief is that if the US didn't maintain some level of nuclear weapons, we would be under attack by some other country(ies)? Which one? Scenario, please. While you're thinking of one-- some vast, conventional navy landing however many millions of troops it would take to subdue the US, realize the US has attacked over 50 countries including Korea, Vietnam, Iraq killing over 5 million innocent people who did NOT attack the U.S.

What a bunch of hippie fucks who have nothing better to do than cause inconvenience to everyone trying to do their jobs. They might think they are protesting for a good cause but the fact of the matter is if we didnt have nuclear weapons we would be under attack constantly from other countries. It is a deterrent and when the shit hits the fan I'm sure they wont be complaining about having them when someone else is threatening to use them on us.

Reagan and Gorbachev almost agreed to get rid of all nuclear weapons. It would be the most shockingly evil thing to ever use them. While history is full of *shockingly evil* people doing shockingly evil things, like WW1 and WW2, the existence of these weapons makes it a matter of self preservation to keep the most evil ones OUT of control over the US Government.

Why don't they do this in Russia? Are we the only ones with SLBM's? Maybe if Russia won't let them in they can go to China? But then again, France may be more understanding. But when it comes down to brass tacks, I think Iran should be the only country with nuclear weapons. Im quite sure they would never use them.
