Thank you for your comment. You might be interested to know she is also in love with her Home machine, her Brother machine and above all her Nolting machine. There is a lot of love to go around just not enough for the Singer machines you mentioned. But we are very happy you have found a machine in which to fall in love.
It seems to me it would be easier to fall in love with a real sewing machine like the Singer 15-91 or the 201, which are made of cast iron instead of cast aluminum, which wears quickly; I can not understand the cult following that these junk machines have...in their day they were considered junk and their price reflected that when compared to other high quality Singer machines then available!
