@blutufreez (prolly figured it out by now) but in the game file, whatever its name is, you can disable the blowouts) also, if you wanted to, just enable a cheat for a mission if you straight can't get through it.

I'm playing oblivion lost 2.2 at the moment on the PDA I have recipes for turning the Droplets and other items into better anomlies. It says I should put droplets into the electro anomolie. How do I do that, when I drop it in with the G key nothing happens can I somehow use it like you are using this thing at the start?

My game has a bunch of camping zombies and a controller camping right at the entrance to the army warehouses(the whole level area not the warhouses themselfs. I kill them all then they respawn. Does anyone have anything like that in their game?

@lasarousi im enemies with freedom but the whole freedom base can't even stand up to one controller, the whole base dies one by one as a watch from a distance. Then, i move in with 12 or so heavily armed duty soldiers and wipe out the controller and the survivers/zombies.

Hell i would imagine going with my friends fighting against mutants fighting of hordes of bandits and all that jazz.

This game is better than Fallout3. The feeling is similar but Stalker is better. I spent obout 100 hours on Fallout3. But I finished it only twice and it began to bore me. Stalker? - over 10 times, probably over 200 hours (only SoC) and I still don't have enough. I probably spent more time on Stalker than on GranTurismo2... and I'm going to spent even more.

@KillTheGrasshopper It puts back some of the original stuff the game had before THQ told GSC to redo everything. Such as, better animal, mutant, and human AI. It is a must if you want to play this game, although the unmodded version is ok I guess.

Anyway, System Shock 2 seems to have some pretty poor gameplay, and a mediocre Sci-Fi storyline not really different from so many others, and I've never seen Deus Ex played, so I can't really say, but I'm almost certain it's another mediocre Fantasy RPG with knights, and trolls, and magic, just like the other usual half of RPGs.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is not only original, but it's presented much better. Better atmosphere and gameplay.

@kalastaja132 It's a mod that adds many new features to the game... more guns, more mutants, random blowouts, drivable vehicles, a sort of artifact crafting system and the ability to keep playing after you finish the story. The thing you see in the beginning of this video where the player uses an artifact to create an anomaly isn't in it anymore though, they took it out because it messed with the new artifact crafting system.

Oh... also you can get tired and need to sleep.

@lasarousi The "L" key switches it on an off, if you have good nightvision in your armor suit I recommend not using it though, as it'll give away your position very fast and doesn't have very good range. If you're inside tunnels and basements it's not too bad though.

i tried complete 2009 mod on my dual core 2.13 ghz,2gb ram and gtx260.Beautiful graphic while keeping the original game almost the same,but when i reached the Agroprom underground i got a HUGE framerate drop,and found that the only way to make the game smooth was to put static lighting,which makes the mod lose its appeal.

I'm going to try Oblivion Lost 2009 now

The latest version of Oblivion Lost Mod... I had a look for a stand-alone version of the artifact/anomaly mod but I can't seem to find it. You should also be able to drive cars in the latest version of Oblivion Lost, which is handy as the zone is fairly large :)

its easy. just go to the stalker directory(c:, program files, thq, stalker:shoc, i think) and just pull out the folder "gamedata" and put it on your desktop for use later :)

@wfk200 yes you just delete the gamedata file and it should turn it off. but you cant regain yuor save also if deleting it makes it crash then go into file data or something like that and change gamedata and change one of them to false.

This game is so great when you can understand the language. I enjoy this S.t.a.l.k.e.r more than clear sky and Call of Pripyat. Gosh, this game is fare more interesting than Fallout 3!

Indeed. With Oblivion Lost 2.2 this game beats Fallout 3 and Clear Sky like nothing.. The mod makes game so intensive when you even have to worry about eating and sleeping/shelter if emission/blowout hits. The graphics are magnificent while the game has better performance on my low-end machine.

I really shocked when military started attacking the rookie camp killing nearly everyone.

I slayed everyone by hiding in shadows with my trusty AKM-74 and later wiped out the military base. :D

@DaedricLavaWhiskey fallout 3 has its pro's and con's, one thing i favored most was that it had far more mods, and the world was much bigger. Unfortunately, I was never really "into the game" like with the original F.E.A.R or Stalker. Also, the only atmospheric moment I had in fallout 3 was after leaving vault 101 for the first time. But thats just me.
