I found out what the problem was, it turns out that the grey hoses you see in the video were not on snugg enough and the engine was breathing cold air instead of breathing pre-heated air through those tubes, hence icing the manifold and killing the engine. Hopefully this helps anyone else with this problem...it's important to make sure you have good pre-heater hoses during the winter.
I think the choke is set too lean. You should be able to set how far the choke plate closes independently of the idle speed. You don't want the choke plate tightly shut when dead cold. Tighten it till it lightly closes, then, back the other way until it just starts to open. Too lean it does what's it's doing now, too rich and it'll lope and smoke. The base idle speed is a little too low also. It needs to be about 850-900 rpm when warm.
@abyssunderground I'll try setting the revs higher and see what happens although I think I've tried that before last year heheh. The choke does come off near the end as you can see, it's not broken.
@Figilswif So I assume it's an auto choke? The revs just don't sound high enough for it, they should be at least double the idle RPM when it's working. All cars and indeed bikes I've heard do this when they're on choke.

If the choke is on now, then it's broken. The revs should be a fair amount higher, so that probably needs checking out.
