Either I'm really good with the Spyro games or everyone else just sucks at them. Seriously, non of the bosses in Year of the Dragon had more difficulty than losing between 1-3 lives, if any.
@WHiPCPL Kinda because in the pirated version, you would ALWAYS start with green Spark after losing to this boss once. Because of that, this boss was ridiculously impossible to defeat easily unless you were a fucking awesome player.

Dear God, even to this day it takes me at least seven tries to beat this boss. Maybe if Sgt Byrd supplied something a bit more useful than red blobs that you have to charge at the guy I'd do better xD;
I think that after you beat the Sorceress the second time, she should cast a spell before she falls into the lava that summons an even harder Spike. That would be such an awesome final boss.
This is awesome; definitely fits the boss fight, gets you intimidated and stuff (sure did with me). I still say Spike's one of my favorite bosses ever--and Stewart Copeland is a genius when it comes to making music. :D
i remember playing this when i was 7, i had the game since it came out, and i just moved next door to my grandparents in what used to be my home and i was playing this level and i was picking at a scratch on my right arm and i thought if i die i die, ill take it seriously when i pick it off so i was picking at the scratch and just pressed random buttons on the controler, and i heard a noize and i looked up and i had beaten spike! :D i still have the scar from the scratch:)
What really pisses me off is that the game automatically sets the diffuculty level based on how you play. I wanted to keep fighting him at normal, but NOOO!
Spike is the only boss in Year of the Dragon to not be killed by falling into the lava, surrounding the stage. When he is defeated, he spins around a few times and falls onto the ground, defeated. The rest of the bosses in the game were all submerged in the lava after being defeated.
Odd, possibly the hardest boss in the game (when you first face him compared to the others), and he's the only who doesn't need to be submerged in lava to be finally taken down.

I think agent 9 came with the professor to the dragon worlds because he is in the handheld games. He just doesn't appear in Enter the Dragonfly or A Hero's Tale.

Oh god, I'm still scared of this boss. He can predict your moves, going after rocks to smash you and the rock, his projectiles are fast and he doesn't give you time to react, he moves too fast and often...the problems go on.
He's like the Gulp fight in the last fight, only after losing weight and using a more simple gun.
Insomniac tried to make "The legend of Spyro" better than the original spyro series. You can't beat the original! I wonder if their making anymore like the original.
I used to NEVER be able to beat this boss until I learned of the cheat codes for this game. Not that I minded, this music was too epic not to want to listen too.
@screaminggingin83 Sheila & Bentley continued to live in their homeworlds after the Sorceres was defeated. Sargent Byrd went on to train with the hummingbirds and continued to practiced training. (Which would explain his re-apperance in A Heros Tail.)
@iAmSasuke1 You have to fight her again in the Super Bonus Round world, you need all the gems and eggs in the game to open the portal. Once there, complete all the challenges for the final battle. An anticlimactic battle, and kind of easy, but the final battle nonetheless.
One was when I was little, and the me, my brother, and mom all played the same game to beat it, I think, or some of the challenges were too hard. Whatever. Super Bonus Round has an extremely hard race, a friend of mine finally beat it for me. Second time I did it all on my own, but had to cheat in the race to win. It is really so freaking hard, one mess up, one flinch, and you basically lose. Be ready for a challange if you go there.
@iAmSasuke1 Pretty easy, compared to the freaking snow board race. She flies around on a saucer, and you have a saucer too, and have to shoot her down or something. It was anticlimactic.
You know, i beat buzz on the second try, defeated scorch on the second, and yet this boss took forever!

@screaminggingin83 Sheila & Bentley continued to live in their homeworlds after the Sorceres was defeated. Sargent Byrd went on to train with the hummingbirds and continued to practiced training. (Which would explain his re-apperance in A Heros Tail.)

@iAmSasuke1 You have to fight her again in the Super Bonus Round world, you need all the gems and eggs in the game to open the portal. Once there, complete all the challenges for the final battle. An anticlimactic battle, and kind of easy, but the final battle nonetheless.

One was when I was little, and the me, my brother, and mom all played the same game to beat it, I think, or some of the challenges were too hard. Whatever. Super Bonus Round has an extremely hard race, a friend of mine finally beat it for me. Second time I did it all on my own, but had to cheat in the race to win. It is really so freaking hard, one mess up, one flinch, and you basically lose. Be ready for a challange if you go there.

@iAmSasuke1 Pretty easy, compared to the freaking snow board race. She flies around on a saucer, and you have a saucer too, and have to shoot her down or something. It was anticlimactic.
