Hey, yes I notice 7D is really good, I have a choice now either to get the 500D or 7D, I also found out that 50D doesn't have the video recording, which sucks before I really need that feature, do you think 500D is good enough to get?

video quality of 500d is almost as good as 7d in the same format and settings which is not a surprise as they have the same cmos size. depth of field should be the same. watch my 500d videos. but if u will be shooting a lot in formats that 500d doesnt support like 1080p/25p then you have no choice but to go with 7d. 500d not just supports less formats, it also doesn't allow manual control in video mode. as to what are the formats that 500d supports, check out at canon's website.

Hey, I was checking out the product review on the EOS 7D, the video quality is really good, could you tell me more about the camera? What do you think the best good and the disadvantage.

it depends on what u r using now and what u r comparing it to. moving up from 40d, i can't think of any disadvantages other than that it is more expensive than what i had paid for the 40 about 20 months ago.but, again, 7d is a class above xxd. 50d today cost less than 40d 20 months ago in absolute dollar value. all things considered, i think the price of 7d today is very reasonable.

pluraleyes works fine most of the time. but like i said in the description, taking the pictures during shooting had spoiled the whole syncing process. but i'd say not too bad doing the sync manually.

audio and video out of sync, it is mostly due to time code problem.

it's more like done with a lot of transcoding time. had problems with my elgato turbo 264.hd transcoding quicktime prores to h.264. resorted to using final pro to do the transcoding. almost two hours for this 5 mins clip. wish i had a macpro. but thanks for the comments.
