DONT BUY IT the apple logo on the back of the itouch starts to wear away and it gets scratched. if you were to drop it the entire case would brake apart

The case may let a lot of dust in, but why would you care anyway? The back of the case is semi-transparent, so you won't be able to see all the scratches. I have one and I barely see a scratch or smudge on my ipod, and it was REALLY scratched up before I put it on. =D

by the way, as for the coin thing to open it, just put the coin in a cloth and then very gently twist it, ive opened mine like 50 times and the notch is still super smooth

Review: the case snaps together very well and it adds a little bit of bulk, I think its fine. Contrary to many reviews, my ipod is still able to dock to my ihome, probably works for all (i had to take off the docking adapter thing though). The screen protector was crap. Maybe because mine was defective on arrival, but i ended up not using it. It probably works well if it isnt defective I used the "sticker" that covered the screen protector as the protector. Note: use a quarter to open the case

yup, very carfully as it is kinda hard to cut with sissors, it works. you can also use other cleaning cloths like for glasses

Don't buy this case. It lets dust in, feels slippery in your hands which would allow it to slide off a table easily, and it scratched my iPod!!!

i have had mine with the i-clear on it for a month now and it has been dusty and used and abused and the back still looks like its brand new. no dust is let in at all. as for opening the case put a penny in youre t-shirt before you crack it open and it will stay clean.

I bought this case when I first got mine, I like the fact that it came with the screen protector, and i can agree with the fact that it makes it hare to get to the sleep wake button, but no dust gets in mine, even when in my pocket. But I have noticed that it makes it a little thicker, so I let my iPod go nude when in the house!

im gonna have to disagree with you on the dust thing. yea it does let a little dust in there but the ipod is so snug in there it doesnt move. if theres no moving between the 2 surfaces there are no scratches. to keep the corner from f-ing up wrap the coin in the supplied rag. ooh and put that screen protector on there.

the griffin reflect is ok if you actually have it for another ipod like the nano or the classic. The touch version of the reflect is that as good because the only "reflect" part is on the sides. The actual screen is from a clear sticker. So you can't really call the iPod Touch version a "reflect" case because there's not a lot of reflected parts. I personally like the reflect case for the ipod nano. I think this case is still pretty good.

There is a trick to applying the film not to get bubbles. You need to slightly heat it with a hairdryer before applying. I mean very slightly heat it. Don't melt it. I had "jam jacket" before I bought the leather version of this case and that had the problem of the plastic clear screen sticking to the ipod and you couldn't remove it. None of the cases I have seen are really all that great. The back is going to get scratched regardless. Also despite the videos on here the screen does scratch.

Yeah I regret buying this case a lot, I swear I'm seeing new scratches everywhere in the back. Secondly the frosted back for me is now inconsistent, some parts are now more frosted then others, and even worse is how the dust collects around the rim of the screen, causing you to take off the case to get it off.

call me retarded but I just figured out how to open it. I used to try to pry it open with the coin slot. I figured out that you have to twist it! With a non-ridged penny it opens like a charm with no scratches. Very strong case. My friend threw it and it didn't break!
