The Mega Drive version is just like the Japanese Famicom Version because they are both easier than the US/PAL NES Versions and there is no Level 11 Glitch.

Damn right. I actually enjoy the music of this version over the original NES. The music for the speed section of the Turbo Tunnel and for the Clinger Winger are much catchier on that old Yamaha FM synth.

I remember this well. There was really no way to get this done without your handy issue of Nintendo Power magazine, which helped you memorize the order of the pylons. There's also a warp in this level which skips straight to the power plant.

No seriously - it is!!!

Neither my cousin nor I could EVER complete this level no matter how many times we attempted it (100 or more?).

I was a whiz when it came to many other NES games, but this particular one was THE ONE that made me admire the people who could ACTUALLY complete it!

It was a pain that you had to re-start the whole game again when you ran out of lives, I would have just liked to play this level over and over again. Well, until I completed it!

It really isn't that hard in comparison to some later levels. It's all about memorizing where to go and when to jump.

this level seened really hard at first, but after many attempts you get the hang of it. after so many failed attempts, i could pass this level without dying... good memories from this game. I was never able to complete it... went pretty far tho

It likes the NES Version. Sega Megadrive was bad. SNES was the king of the games. Only the graphic is better than in the NES Version. The Levels and the moves are like the NES Game.

SNES Game was very much bettter. I have it bothes. And now I saw the SEGA Version.

In the NES version you could always miss the last block by a thread, but when saw THIS...

I'd watch the REST, WTF?!, that was SO SLOW! even at the last part the player got enough time to cross to the full sides of the track?

In the original Battletoads you had to almost stay at the center of the track while dodging up and down the walls with well timed Taps.

This version should be called BattleSCRUBS, F**K!!

Yeah this version has gotten really bad remixes of the original awesome soundtrack this game has taken down the difficulty too so yea... it sucks... The original Battletoads for the NES was great and dedicated as the worlds number 1 hardest game of all time!
