I find it richly ironic that he sings (poorly) of holding on, chasing hopes & dreams, & morphing into a butterfly when the TRUE monarch of East 17, one Mr. Brian Harvey, was NEVER allowed to spread his exquisite wings & soar! While his vocals reached majestic heights, cruel Tony, seething w jealousy, I'm sure, just had to clip Brian's ethereal wings & drive the man to near death! SHAME!

Sadly, I don't study JUST E17. My work takes me thru the spectrum. Unfortunately, I have to cross paths w some decided NON bangers (911? YECH!) & poncy 'high brow' statement rock from the 70's. What I have learned is that a JAM defies all boundaries & can exist in all genres yet E17 blew the roof off w MOST JAMS EVER!

Brian is real memmber of E17 and he should act like he is and not like a jerk, do you know why Tony hit him? becase after so loong tome Tony finally came back in E17 and he was in studio wih record company guys waiting fro Brian who came 3 hours late... Tony wrote most of the song and I'm sure you remember what happend when he left band..

However, I feel Brian's voice was silenced. Sure, his personality is BOLD, but such is Brian! Have u seen the documentary "Being Brian Harvey"? The man suffered a depression that nearly cost him his life, but he fought back! My dream is to one day see E17, original line up, let their JAMS rain down on me!
