3d Studio Max tutorial - fire effect

Why does your flame's shape look so realistic, while mine is just an oval? I did exactly what you did, even the same values, but it's an oval.

@VFXTutorials im having the same problem, its not showing on my scene.. it only works on a clean empty scene but the environments i worked on doesnt work.. its weird, i dont see the difference in render options

If you are having problems with fire,that it doesn't show up,go to Gizmo thingy and press "New Seed".

@Jufasa14 i actually don't know,I knew mentalray has issues rendering FUMEFX fire,but I never heard about incompatibility with some common rendering effects such as fire.I suggest you to ask at the autodesk AREA forum,they will probabily give you an answer. Good luck =)
