Brilliant footage. Lovely to see those old railway coaches. I must admit I like the GNR coach as it was designed by Nigel Gresley. A lot of railway enthusiasts forget that Gresley started out as carriage designer and I always liked the look of the teak-bodied GNR/LNER carriages. I wonder the driver had so much trouble getting Sherwood Forester going with such a light load. Maybe gave it too much regulator. Anyway nice vid. Thanks for sharing.
@bkendlerA4 Thanks, I would love to see a complete rake of mainline teak coaches, we have so many locos they could be used behind, the driver was having a tough day - they had use the emergency coupler, and ended up leaving Dumbarton 51 minutes down, but they managed to make up their time further up north.

Fantastic shots, old coaching stock makes a difference. I didnt think wooden bodied coaches were allowed on the mainline.
