usually slow down helps me dodge bullets faster, but in gradius 3 arcade it didnt, cause it was like all weird. it would go from slow to normal speed instant making me crash xD
The music in the arcade version is pretty good. The SNES version definitely isn't an exact translation, music-wise. But, the SNES version still does a pretty good job on the music front and it's very difficult to choose which is better since both versions have their own very enjoyable character.
You dont need to tell us that the arcade one is a lot harder. you can tell just by watching. Narrower and those weird lion things werent in the SNES.
Your a really good player.

This is the hardest Gradius by quite some distance, even the first level can catch you out. At least the boss is easy
ps. No miss means NO DEATH

"Miss" here means "death", folks. It's just an old Japanese convention, and "no miss" in no way denotes the number of enemies killed.

I can do this.
Ofcourse that is to say, that it isn't hard...at that difficulty.
Now if it was on 2nd or 3rd Loop then I might have some trouble, but completing the first stage of the game without a single hit isn't challenging.
The Bubble stage (stage 2) or stage 3, thats a different story entirely.
