@number1canadian Psst you used Vigor's effect completely wrong, Vigor's effect reads: If damage would be dealt to a creature you control other than Vigor, prevent that damage. Put a +1/+1 counter on that creature for each one damage prevented this way. Then Infect reads: It deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters. So it is still trying to deal damage in the same way, thus meaning Vigor's effect kicks in and prevents it. You have been playing wrong this whole time.
