Yeah that's pretty crazy, one of my favorite players, Jarkko Ruutu(Yeah, I'm finnish) was in Pens, it was dream come true, Pens + Jarkko Ruutu, but now when he is in Ottawa, he is still good player,

players don't get worser when they change team,

You know Hossa was just a rental last year for the Pens, right? The Wings had him more this season than the Pens did last season. It makes me laugh how Pens fans think they owned him, when he was clearly just a rental they grabbed at the trade deadline last year.
