  • Excellent question. I am still looking for an answer to this myself.

  • In short, truth is not subject to us, we are subject to it. Running and hiding from truth, from reality, despite popular perception, is not in anyone's best interest, because sooner or later they'll have to face it. And the longer people stay in denial, the bigger the mess will get. Wisdom and truth does not fall into anyone's lap, they have to seek it.

  • They give us our cultures, they give us our "nations," they give us fiat money systems, technologies, etc to totally cull and control us. This means every religion, nation, culture, movement, technology, the education system, every industry, even down to our languages, are part of this control grid and are there to keep us locked in... Freedom starts in the mind, but u have to be strong to b able 2 handle the truth. Truth is eternal, and cares not of our feelings. (continued)

  • There are layers to the truth.... And getting through all the layers, takes much time in research. However, the elites write entire books bragging about their plans, they always have, as far back as our recorded history goes... People seem to think all this stuff evolved naturally, and it only got bad in the past couple hundred yrs or so and that everything humans built prior to that is somehow normal... Well, that's a big stinking lie (continued)

  • Steve, You're a great philosopher! (The love of wisdom). I have many ideas as to why humans are fearful, as well as why the ones who know the truth are unable to propogate it! I'm sure you do also, but, with that said, you've hit on a nerve which is a great topic of discussion! Carry on, my friend. No fear!..........Marc

  • You said it so eloquent

  • People fear the truth because they don't want to admit they are/were wrong. They don't want to look stupid in front of other people if they admit they were wrong, but they don't realize other people are like this too. It takes more strength of character than you know to face the truth and say "yes, I was wrong". Not everyone can do it. In fact, most people can't. It's like if someone bought a cheap replica of Rolex and paid $50,000 for it, if someone says "it's fake" they can't/won't accept it.

  • I especially love the end of the video. It is weird because it's so rare to find someone who actually thinks for themselves like Steve and I do. Most people have this stone mindset and assume everything is "fair." Like when you say that women have it easier than men in the dating world, people are so quick to tell you that you are wrong because it sounds negative and unfair. The truth is that there are a lot of negative and unfair things in the world, and most people can't accept that.

  • (Continued) Not sane at all, just functional enough to make it day to day. Few men (and it's mostly men) in the recorded history of mankind have ever been able to truly embrace the truth; living it and speaking it. When you speak the truth the world will hate you for you attest that it's deeds are evil. Your everyday Joe is nothing like these men (and women), he's mediocre. And really, is there anything more demonic than mediocrity?

  • People fear truth more than death itself. We spend our whole lives building castles in the sky, kings and queens in our own minds. It starts with the lies are parents and other family members feed us, then it's the schools and the media. Most of us aren't even human, and some us stoop lower than beasts. Not only do we lack what it takes to be considered human but must of us aren't even sane. Self-destructive, apathetic, greedy, lying, cheating, manipulative, unconscious.

  • hi steve, I just realized something. women tend to fear the truth more than men do. around women, if you are too truthful, they get offended for some reason. so you gotta be politically correct around them, or else they get offended. men are better able to handle the truth it seems. women are big on political correctness for some reason, and seem to fear truth more than men do. I wonder why. do you have any idea?

  • Ever tried to debate against someone who is strongly religious? If you ever state something that goes against what they believe and if you have valid points they will respond with anger while than being rational they refuse to listen to other sides of the spectrum and I believe the type of people you're talking about is much like those that strongly believe in their faith without question

  • Political correctness, mob mentality, tyranny of the majority. This is why some people fear truth and/or fear telling truth. Most people are still very much easy manipulated animals who go along with the orthodoxy. We aren't as enlightened we'd like to believe.

    See also: Just world theory

  • Because your'e bursting they're bubble, they want to believe that they're in control!

  • great philosophical points steve. obviously, people have emotional investment in the lies, that's why they resist changing their paradigms. also, the powers that rule the world do not care about the truth. it's not in their interest. the elite are all about CONTROL, CONTROL, CONTROL. they will manipulate things and people and program us to suit THEIR interests. it's all about their vested interest. they engineer public perception. watch the film "Architects of Control" by Tsarion on YouTube.

  • @GlobalDating

Thanks a lot Winston. Actually, your follow-ups and insight solidify the fact that people are afraid to step outside the matrix. Thanks again. I am not trying to be overly patronizing, but you surely are someone that needs to be getting more views on your channel. One thing I have noticed is that degenerate egomaniacs on here get 10,000 or more subscribers but people like you, me, and others with good insights into life hardly get any at all. You know the answer why.

  • part of the reason is because we are all subjected to mind control by the elite. they don't have enough soldiers to control everyone, so they gotta control your mind and use your peers to keep you in line as well. it's part of the system and programming. also people want to hear positive things cause they fear negativity, even if it's true. while it's not good to dwell on negativity but it's also fake and a lie to pretend that everything everywhere is always great and that you love everything.

  • MSM has already figured out that people are turned off by the truth. MSM skillfully whitewashes their stories, tells half-truths or outright lies. Why? Because they know that's what people want. The truth is often too ugly for Joe Sixpack to contemplate so they flee into a world of entertainment, drugs and lies. Nice to see you back Steve !!!

  • good points steve! Hey good to see you back

  • I think it's the fact that people, like animals, are territorial. We're territorial about multidimensional intellectual space rather than a 2 dimensional slice of land. Some people are less like animals, because their ratio of rational brain vs primitive brain is higher and they are thus less territorial about ideas. That's just my take on it.

  • This is one video i can agree with. It's just the nature of discussions regarding politics or other social issues-you get multiple viewpoints, everyone wants to give their 2 cents- it's not cut and dry like some law in physics. When you are challenging an idea that has been ingrained into a society for so long than you'll always be faced with a tough uphill battle if you're looking to try to make some change. Persistence is key with for anything worthwhile.

  • maybe some ppl are genetically predisposed to have the rational ability to deal with truth logically whereas some ppl dont have this ability, so truth to them is chaotic cause they dont know how to mentally organize/process the information and thus they avoid the truth and live in denial cuz its easier for them...i duno thats just a guess...i want to know the answer to this question as well.

  • I think the more people have invested in their current view of the world the more they resist it when you tell them it's wrong. However guys like me who aren't so heavily invested, guys like me who thought the whole fashion, consumerism culture was BS anyway have an easier time of it. Even I, suffered some emotional trauma when I learned about where the economy is headed, how deep government corruption runs, and so on.

To someone who was happy in the illusion, it would be a much greater shock.

  • @vention4wh

Yes, I know why people are the way they are, but it's nice to hear it reiterated to me from another person I don't even know. Sadly, peoples' paradigms of the world are cemented in stone, and shattering them makes them uneasy. It's kind of like the redneck that says "My grand-daddy died for your freedom" only to be taught that maybe his grand-daddy was dying for corporate greed, and not his grand baby's freedom to watch NASCAR and corporate-sponsored country music.
