  • Потрясающая мелодия,в лучших традициях The Finn brothers!!!!!!Глухие барабаны,вкрадчивое пианино,прозрачный звук!!!!Австралия-браво!!!!!!!Neil Finn amazing songwritter and singer!!!!!!!!

  • OMG Bic is so HOT!. This is such a great colab!

    ***NZ MUSIC, THE BEST!***

    Gizzy rep^^

  • I thought I'd said this before but maybe not so I'll say it again ... where have you been hiding all my life? Great song - sensational woman - wow! Why did it take me this long to pay attention?

  • Where have you been hiding all my life?

  • God, I love this song. I discovered Bic when she was touring with the the mighty Finns, and have recently come upon Anika Moa's great albums as well. Brilliant stuff!

  • I fell in love with Bic on the ferry from Wellington to Picton, South Island, .. great song. Loveit.

Yet, being Welsh, I have to say. "C'mon Bic, you could vhave the world at your feet if you stopped hiding..... surely, vdont rely on the New Zealand music scene, its so backward."

Take on the Brits, coz there is nobody l;ike you there... Even tho its oooozing with talent.

  • nice one Bic, please get to the IK - they dont know you there,,, You are an inspiration to me.

    xxx

  • There is nothing to not like about this video and song. Bic Runga is a class act - not to mention all the other artists here being fine and of the highest calibre in their own right. Aotearoa - stand up and be proud of your own. The light synth solo at 2:06 is priceless. Anika Moa and Anna Coddington at 3:00 - now THAT'S NZ for you!! :-D

  • cast in a line with you... love is the winning arrow... i heared this song in new zealand two years ago and now found it here. its like WOOOW!!!! :-)

  • bic runga is freakin cool!

  • Lovely! Can't wait to see Bic in LA next month. Good video - plus, anything Neil Finn touches turns to gold!

  • mmm Let me say I am sad this kind of music is not popular in this part of the world(mexico) cuz I am truly in love with Bic Runga´s music, The only good think about american pie is that I got to know the music of this great artist.

  • i think that third cd is the best

  • Anika Moa there also, nuther great act

  • So is Anna Coddington.

  • WHY isn't she a huge international superstar? Her lyrics are incredible, her talent enormous, and she's just so adorable. It boggles my mind why so much emphasis is placed on musicians with no talent when there are artists like Bic Runga out there.

  • because this world is not fair, and Americans have more money to splurge on entertainment, hence their no-talent celebrities can pop like mushrooms after the rain. Whereas true talents like Bic gets sidelined.

  • Probly because this genre of music is not that popular as it was before. But yeah, such an awesome song.

  • yeah but imagine if she was a huge international star... Would it change her music? im sure she would be pressured into making music that isn't really her. And this way when you hear Bic Runga sing, it is so intimate - we are the chosen few who have the pleasure to know about this rare beauty!!! Lucky us :-)

  • Still, in an ideal world she'd be able at least to make a living! It's a crime..

  • She is so pretty, and talented.

  • Love your voice Bic!!!

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Also Shane Carter helping out...

  • Love Bic, think she's gorgeous and her songs are amazing... BUT... this song is CRUD. It's going through the numbers, nothing new, pastiche of other peoples work. She needs to look at her first two albums and understand why they were so traditional and yet groundbreaking.

  • Ok ... she has Neil Mullane Finn, one of the greatest singer songwriters of all time ... playing backup for her.

    Wow.

(And Ms Anika Moa, who is also wonderful, I toured with her and Dobbyn a while back)

  • luv this song

  • Bic Runga is CHOICE!!

  • I love the backup vocals in this song

    Anna is sweet......

  • damn !!! i love this song,,,,

  • HOT !!

  • gorgeous

  • GRREAT WORK team, i love you all. BIC RUNGA RULEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and good on Neil Finn for helping out. YOU ALL RULE!!

  • Sorry, also the tino ataahua Anika Moa!

  • what a room full of great Aotearoa talent! I love the combination of Bic Runga and sexy voice, Shayne Cater.

  • According to the Wikipedia website, this was the lineup for the Birds album: * Bic Runga -- vocals, guitars * Tim Arnold -- guitar * Ben "Boxcar" Maitland -- vocals, guitars, harmonica * Shayne Carter -- backing vocals * Anna Coddington -- backing vocals * Neil Finn -- vocals, guitars, piano, psalterian, vibraphone * Rikki Gooch -- drums, percussion * Rebecca Harris -- harp * Anika Moa -- backing vocals * Joanna Satomi Schulz -- French horn * Conrad Standish -- vocals, bass guitar
  • WOW Bic Runga, Anika Moa, & Anna Coddington

I would be in Heaven in that room.

  • Wow. Real nice. Sweet, sweet tune.

Who are all the people in this clip?

I know it's Neil F on piano, and Shayne Carter doing guitar and bv.s, with Anika Moa ...

and who are the other good people there?

  • Great song. lovely voice.

  • not bad to have one of the finn brothers helping out on piano. great song

  • hahahahaha i think anika farted? why does anika give her the forward nod when bic says the word scent?

  • This is a good song with some great New Zealand Musicians! Please don`t cheapen it with cheap talk about the artists. Be proud not jelous!!!

  • hmm, definitely pretty, but i prefer the long hair.

  • I'm sure they play this where I work. I love it, anyway. Absolutely addicted to that album.

  • this is nice too

  • this song makes me think of nz last year, driving to work in the sunshine on the north shore, bit different to rainy london!!

  • the guitar player is a friend of mine.

    Bic is cool.

  • thanks for posting this cedricqr, this more darker than her mellow pop hits she releases, with good mates helping her out on the album and video it sounds great too, love this style she has now, part of a very talented family, cheers mate.

  • that's right

    Drive was rock-pop sound

Beautiful Collision was probably most diverse instrument-wise

Birds has a more sombre sound, with hints of jazz

  • Bic runga!!! Love this song!!! PEOPLE MUST SEE THIS VIDEO!!!

  • Yaaaaay! ^^ I love this song! Thanks for posting.

  • more please
