My granpa died this September. He was a humble man, so down to earth. He would sing Sinatra to me all the time, and would often teach me how to dance along with it. So I guess you could say that Sinatra is a very big part of my life just how my grandpa was. I wish people could hear how wonderful music was back then, don't lose hope in my generation. I'm only fourteen and I could listen to this all day. RIP Papa <3 && RIP Frank Sinatra, two equally great men.
Sinatra is a legend. Legendary status takes the majority of a lifetime to reach, IF you have a great talent, in the first place. If any of the young talents have what it takes, it will be decades before it is belongs to any of them. As always, especially in the arts, time will tell.
What a beautiful sound. Such a clean voice. I enjoy artist like him, Michael Bublé is like today's "Frank Sinatra" I melt every time I hear his voice!!
Honestly the people saying that you hate Lady Gaga for covering this song are so narrow minded. I think it is great that she is introducing older music to the younger generations . Just because she does pop doesn't mean she cant do other genres, and she has an amazing voice and did a damn good cover.
I can't believe it took Lady Gaga for some people to recognize the beauty of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. In the other hand at least it is being recognized.
@Arayofsunshinee You should believe it, they are 14-18 year olds who have no basis to look up, or hear these jazz standards. It took the Beatles to inroduce me to Motown. It's the game, don't hate the playa...
Dear Gaga, thanks for turning your younger audience on to this song with an awesome live performance any jackbrain can find on youtube. Who knew you've been singing jazz in Manhattan bars since your were 14? Now young folks can come hear Sinantra's and Ella's version and broaden their horizons. Ohh I forgot, the teabagger style haters don't think artists should introduce old school tunes to kids. They have more fun hatin' in the name of being snobs, Sorry, your friend,
@talkman288 Sorry I must simple disagree I've always been in old soul in a young body, I just can't give credit to someone simply because they sing the song of a legend I must give credit to all the old-time artists who've ever done this song then credit to those new school folks who tribute.
@talkman288 it's the pretentiousness in the music that turns people off and it's prevelant. Im 28 and I just couldnt take it anymore and as an alternative about 11 years ago I turned to Sinatra...haven't looked back since.
Frank is GREAT but wanna hear a singer smoother then Frank Sinatra? Come check out our all new Vic Franklyn Tribute Page, with 24 of his songs in 1080p HD :)
@devennmedia And I'm 20 and just kidding around! =) I found Ella Fitzgerald 4 years ago when my mom was given a CD as a present and, although she doesn't like jazz very much, she told me she was EXCELLENT and recomended that I listen to it. I thought of changing it for a Good Charlotte CD and if it wasn't for me being just lazy I would have (and would have regretted it for the rest of my life, now I know). So I listened to it after months and regretted not having listened to it before.
@Swanspice23 Kindly go fuck yourself, you little shit-for-brains prep who thinks you're a freak (who thinks that's cool) for listening to someone who dresses different to get attention than an actual classic like Frank Sinatra who doesn't need that to be a national treasure.

@msinatra I actually love ALL kind of music. From Jazz to Rap, Classical to Rock, Christian to Metal, Indie to Pop, Psychedelic to Acoustic, Oldies to Modern. I love them all. xD
