@dndrequiem except the music in that last brutal level drove me to finally beat the damn thing. That final stage tune was almost saying "you can't possibly win, this is going to get ugly no matter what you do, you might as well give up" And well it was right for a lot of people. But it just made me like screw you I'm fucking winning this. So I did.
@billny33 Beating the game in spite of the game sounds like you made constructive use of your anger. :) You know what else? I was humming the musical note of the many levels to count how many tracks were on the game. Including the short music you hear when you make short jumps from portal to portal, I counted 13 tracks. They were all memorable. My favorites were this one here, the level 1-1 boss you meet in the bar, and the one on the plant planet. Really good music. Terribly hard game.
@billny33 And.... with no password feature this was the game you prayed Game Genie could crack- but couldn't. It was the game that you hoped that, after you stayed up until 3am, your NES wouldn't reset itself while you slept. Simply put, you knew that you were screwed if you or anyone in your house tripped the power cord on that day, and would thereafter be self-confined to your room for hours of not bothering to turn on that unforgivably offending piece of machinery.
I've downloaded the album. Love it. listened to this entire album easily ten times today to keep me in the mood while working on my halloween costume... as Ken.
holy shit dude....i randomly clicked on this video and didn't look at the title, i was in the other room, then i was like "omg...do i hear sf 2010 music?!?!" i immediately recognized this, and then realized it was an EPIC arranged remix. Fucking fantastic :D
@AmazingCharles ...Danimal's is hard rock, and this is a cinema score. The former you could put the track to an American-made SF 2010 animated show- I like his version. But I love this one- if you were to make a live-action or anime SF 2010 movie, this is the track you use. Why compare rock to orchestra?
Holy shit!! I imaged there being orchestral remixes of the main theme for Street Fighter 2010 but I never imagined a remix so powerful, melodramatic and realistic as this! This is truly amazing!!
This is absolutely breathtaking. You've really achieved something quite amazing here. I never would have thought that while doing a quick search for some old 8-bit sound, I would have stumbled along this epic music that can easily stand toe-to-toe against the likes of Marty O'Donnell or Hans Zimmer. Congratulations on an incredible job, and thanks so much for your effort and contribution. Have a great 2010!
V1LL4IN, i just asked about a remake on the Capcom message boards. hopefully they'll respond with SOMETHING, even if it's the NES download on the Virtual Console.
But anyway, I nearly shit my pants when I did a search for the NES music rip and accidentally found these songs up for download. BEAUTIFULLY DONE!! I've played the whole thing at least six times since I downloaded it last night, and I'm not even a huge fan of arranged/orchestrated music. I can't get enough of these tracks. Have more?
This is great. I love the intro theme. Great work on this washudoll. Now if only Capcom would remake this game using Megaman X gameplay type, and using your music.
@shincyriades I COMPLETELY agree with you...I don't know how this could have been any better. It sounds like it was produced and played by a World Orchestra or something...
Amazing!!!

@faaaddas yes I voted this comment down because you called this game mediocre! This game kicked so much ass.

@billny33 ...and the great music made getting my butt handed back to me by all the final bosses near the end of the game more bearable.
