I've watched this race over and over again to really see how the heck Darvis Patton fell and flipped over like that. To be fair the British Guy was in lane. Darvis was too far over. Though the British guy started running off too early because there was no way even if he didn't collide with the American guy he still would not have gotten his batton because his team mate was no where near him.

Pity really would have loved to have seen a clean race.

@SexyC27 The UK guy was lined up in his lane but his arm swings over the lane line striking Darvis in the crotch. Darvis is supposed to run near that edge in order to make the pass and not get spiked. The UK runner also left way too early and his own team mate throws the baton at him.

@JumpmanJRH Your absolutely right.  Dix was not going to beat Bolt but that was the only race on the track. Worse than that, the UK runner actually hit Darvis right in the crotch at full speed. His arm swings over the line into the USA lane. The UK did not make a pass on that leg either because their moron anchor left way early thinking he should somehow be running with the USA and Jamaica. His own team mate throws the baton at him. Complete jackass. USA should have protested.
