Hi this is so interesting. Where did you get the kit to make the buckyball? I'd like to buy one.

It is a construction toy called Magnetix, this took several sets and I bought most of them at Wal-Mart

Interesting! I'm such a nerd. I wouldn't have been able to resist constructing the individual pieces; taking a picture of each step; and making it into an animation. Makes you wonder how Buckminster Fuller was able to THINK of this when it hadn't been devised yet.
