Wow, I didn't know she was still trying the DTY in 2004. I guess she wanted to go all out for a medal, but she wasn't even close to getting it around. Doing the 1.5TY would have gotten her into finals at least and she can do that vault a bit better.

As wonderful as the first vault was, I never thought Khorkina had any business doing that double twisting Yurchenko. She gets absolutely NO block, and basically drills it in the ground everytime. So it's a) ugly and b) dangeroous!
I never liked Khorkina. She is very pretty to watch because she is so long on twiggy. Some skills she did were cool but they would have looked better on someone like Comaneci.

So we all go, Oh I wish Kathryn would eat a burger, Yeah, Katrina should eat a burger, woah Shaelin, have a burger, ooh, Courteney could use a burger and some fries on the side!!!

actually, during the athens code of points, in the preliminaries you would do two vaults ONLY if you wanted to qualify to the Vault Finals. anyone not wanting to qualify did only one vault. Only the first vault would count toward the team and all around qualification if you were trying for the Vault Final.
Ow... The first vault was pretty painful too... I get so nervous about her breaking a leg. But she just floats on her 1st vault.

her shoulder are severely closed when she hits the horse, thus no flight. or maybe the vault table was at the incorrect height like in Sydney, not!
