dude, big turbos on little engines, have you seen the new 1/3/ even 5 series BMWs, 300hp 300tq TWIN turbo, lol, the g37 and 370z are natural aspirated and push 330hp 270tq, without any forced induction, you need to get off the drugs or drive an infiniti, or nissan 370z, which is faster than a twin turbo little engine BMW, and base price is 30k for the Z. Nissan or Infiniti, it's no different than BMW and Mini, except in a Mini you look like a big asshole in a little space
Great job on the Infiniti M35 review! My new choice for a family sports sedan is the Infiniti M35 sedan. I've test drove some this last weekend and found that from 2007 to 2009 this car has all the goodies and is the only car my wife & I can completely agree on. Go figure! Oh, yes, we drive the Lexus ES330, nice car but want to upgrade and are not impressed with the Lexus line of cars for 2009. So my next car will be one of these, hope the M35x..
what about the 5 series? I own both BMW and Infiniti, I have to say, the 5 series is overpriced, plus the Infiniti dealer, at least the one near my area, is far superior to the BMW dealer that services the BMW, plus Infiniti is not as yuppie, I love the underdog
im not a fan of Japanese cars...to me Infinity is just a Nissan with some leather and wood on it..besides Infinity cars go for about the same as BMW's these days so I wouldn't mind spending a little more for a a whole lot more prestige.
I respect the fact some people look at brands by country of origin, but to take shots at Infiniti is just uncorrect, they have came a very long way and are very good cars, I can honestly say, the Infiniti was a better buy, I am 23 years old, I have been making good money since I graduated. I use to own a MB also, from the same dealer that sold me the BMW, I was 18 when I bought the MB, and my first Infiniti, I35, MB/BMW wouldnt give loaner car during defaults b/c I was under 21, ridiculous
Everytime I go to the Infiniti dealer, they cook you a full meal (full kitchen staff, everything comp), free car washes, they even have a full movie theatre, not to mention, never refused a request due to age or anything reasonable, the way I see it, I am a hard working adult, If I can afford to buy a BMW and MB in the same time frame, no matter the age, I demand the same service as any other owner, 21 or not. That is why, even though I have the BMW still, I bought an M35X over 5series
i can see them being scared about loaning a 50 or so k car to a young person but w/e...i used to have a Audi A6 Avant for a while but now i've been forced to use communist way of transport called the bus but hopefully i'll have something soon
I don't know about you, but I never needed a loan for anything, all my vehicles were purchased in full, except for the current M35X. I bought it, not leased, but I didn't write a check for it like the other former vehicles, now is the best time to take payments on a car, my credit is at an all time high, Thanks for the comments tho, it's nice to see someone who speaks about what they honor, I still would go with Infiniti, if you get a chance, drive the G37X, it's an awesome AWD machine.
Exactly, so sell the 5 series, if you dont want some old POS that is... J/K, but honestly, have you ever driven a 2006+ Infiniti M35/M45? They rock dude, plus you can use the mods that the G35/350Z use, the VQ35 engine is so awesome, It is so fun to drive, you don't need a V8 at all, if you want supercar power, just add a forced induction system to the ready and willing VQ, it will do more than meet your expectations, and from personal XP, I have a 4 door M35X w/ mods that beats the 333hp M3
Im not a big fan of strapping big turbos onto little engine it think it just adds some "Fast and Furious" to your car...i like naturally aspirated engines and V8s just sound fucking cool lol
Yeah, but the Infiniti M35x is far more reliable than BMW 325i and possibly the other models (5 series) too, according to my research (Consumer's Reports etc..)
From my experience, BMWs need constant repairs for things like ball joints and the electronics are very unreliable. I own a BMW325i. Every year I have to repair the ball joints despite normal driving.
The long term repair costs out way any 'prestige' in my opinion.
@GoldenTempleAmritsar well 60 or 70 % 0f people buy a car by its look and then by relaibility and gadgets acording with consumer reports...just like they say in the video " its lack of style...."...plus its not an "ultimate driving machine"...getting that title means u did domething wright...its all about what u need a car for ...
@ziz4ever People get BMW/Mercedes/Audi for the name, for bragging rights/status. Truth be told, most people buying cars don't know shit about cars, and most people are stereo-types. I have several friends who owned or still own Germans have had nothing but problems, and all of them sold their cars before warranty was up. They're unreliable, period.
@KrazeDiamond when u say unreliable u are talking about US market or in general??because if u tell somebody from europe that a bmw/audi./merc/volksw is unreliable they will laugh in your face .auto markets r very different ...and yes in america german cars are rated with less stars than japonais ... but lets not forget the history and who invented what..what did infinity came up on the table ?? why ar u buying addidas and nike ?or apple?
@ziz4ever How did you know? Did you go to Germany and conduct a survey? They're unreliable and it's a known fact, what are you even arguing for? And what are you trying say? Germans invented cars? or performance cars? There were many automotive technologies developed by Nissan, you just don't know about them. Go do some real research before you try and argue. And I don't buy Addidas/Nike/Apple. Stop assuming. -__-
I like the Nissan Fuga a lot. The interior is beautiful and the seats are very comfortable. If I owned this car I would take off all of the exterior Infiniti badges and replace them with JDM Nissan badges.
I drive an 06 a8 and its a very reliable car I dont know why ppl talk bad about german cars I will alway drive an audi
