I've lived/worked in the ME and most muslims are no different than any other people - they're just trying to get on in life. Islamic fundamentalism is as much about a lack of civil society than anything inherent in islam.

Actually Cohen crosses the line sometimes.
He can't just do whatever he wants to make a comedy film.
For example if he goes up and punches someone, that is wrong. Regardless of whether the audience is laughing or not.
Cohen lacks basic respect for people sometimes. I thought most of borat was hilarious, but a few times he lacked basic human respect for people.
He doesn't just get to do what ever he wants. He is not the king of the universe.
