Have you ever looked in a mirror? That's what a prat with a meaningless existence looks like!
Aach. Your sort make me puke! You think you're the centre of the universe. More occurred before you were born (one highly regrettable disaster!) than your feeble mind ever could begin to contemplate.
I regret lowering myself by taking the bait of your crasse remark which reveals all about you in just 11 words.
My mother used to sing this when I was a nipper... post war years and we listened to the wireless, and if fortunate, our grandparents had a gramaphone player.
Oh fabulous. Donald Peers. Has anyone bettered him? In a shady nook, byyyyyyy a babbling brook. I love the ukelele interlude. Always brings a smile to my face. Reminds me of the time in Keith's barber shop. He always had similar songs to this!
@Malcnoo.
What a half-witted, assinine comment!

I am glad I found this recording as my mother's cousin is the pianist on it. His name is Hubert Greenslade and I don't know enough about him.

I can remember listening to Donald Peers when I was little. He had a lovely voice and my favourite was April Showers. Always made me cry!

Lovely stuff...but I've got to ask, was Roy Wood listening to this when he wrote 'Angel Fingers'?
