Japan, even under restrictions from the US, still has a great military. And their great economy helps a lot. Even so, I know that Japan has long abandoned the principles of the former dictatorship long ago and deserves to have their own unrestricted military. they are actually stronger than you think. As you can see, they are using apaches and they are also very disciplined. they are still as formidable as they were in WWII. Their country is not as big as the U.S; Russia, U.K. and so on. Do you know What an Aegis BMD is? they have quite a bit of those. their navy is very strong, i would say one of the strongest in the world. Also, don't bother bringing up World War 2 because we had a very tough time fighting them.
