I just think it's cool that people are still thinking about these old actors and doing creative things with them, and double cool that you guys didn't do cheesy impersonations that have already been overdone. (Plus I can even imagine those two faking out an interviewer by doing something like this - they seemed to like to mess with people.)

I was aware of this fact, and part of the joke was that Lorre's character in 'The Maltese Falcon' seemed to have a homosexual attraction to Bogart's. Hence the chemistry on camera here.
