I am very impressed with the talented defensive line of nebraska, but it seems like our secondary has become faster and more experienced in 2009 from 2008.I tip my hat to a competitive clemson team and their fans, and am eagerly awaiting a big 12 championship featuring texas and nebraska. part of it was that nebraska had heard all year "oh we just don't play defense we are in the big 12" and the clemson fans saying they would just destroy us. then there were plenty of shitty fans at the bowl game(that said i know several great clemson posters on a few husker boards.

I loved how they were hyping up "thunder and lightning", clemsons offense was absolutely pathetic this game, and im not trying to be mean or knock clemson, they were just pathetic! Harper was worthless! Nebraska's Defense played great, holding Clemson to what, 210 total yards? lol....GO BIG RED!!! I'm not going to say they ragged on Nebraska more than Clemson, because all fans seem to think that their team gets "dissed more" in a game, so whatever.

But come on, the guys speculated the whole game and it was so annoying. Perfect example was when one of them said "Nebraska can't run against Clemson" and then Castille pounded out a 50 yard run.

Those commentators sucked ass. They never gave nebraska credit. When Spiller got jacked up on that kickoff return, the commentators insisted that the hit wasn't that bad he was just slipping at the same time, then the camera cuts to spiller clutched over in pain. When Suh blocked the PAT, it was mostly because the kickers mechanics were off, not because Suh was completely past the O-line. When Clemson rushed for 4 yards the ENTIRE game. They talk about the Clemson D-line that gave up like 240.

Actually, it was a good point, and I say that as a Husker fan. Bowers was/is fricking ridiculous. You're right, though - Suh and Steinkuhler and the whole NU DL were great. But Bowers being a freshman was very, very impressive in this game. NU had all kinds of problems with him.
