  • she probarly rocks around alot as the joints dont look brilliant

  • @1800isbest She's a 1950s RSH, they all were like that, built cheaply, only designed to last 20 odd years, not be pulling passenger trains on preserved railways when they were 60

  • @littlegiant18794 it aldepends how good her springs are and how well set up the springing is . the UGLY'S were actually built as the last locos for Stewart and Lloyds with a life expectancy of 40/50 yrs

  • brilliant

  • Great Video, 5 Stars!

  • Rocks about on the track well doesn't she lol.Mind you so does "Sir Gomer". 0-6-0s always seem to rock about on straight track but on curves they are very smooth lol. Short wheelbases. How long is the line and how long til it reaches the regular GCR?

  • the lines about 9 miles long, and all thats separating us from gcr(l) is getting accross the midland mainline, over a severn trent water thing, rebuilding an embankment, getting over an old canal bridge, and moving the current gcr(l) sheds to the old council tip site so we can have double track. how long it takes depends on how much it costs and how long it will take to raise all the money

  • 9 miles?!Thats a good length of track for an industrial lol

  • yeah, ironic that we got the smaller industrials and less passengers but we got the longer running line. i suppose its cos we aint had resident steam for a year so people think we're only diesels, and we got a good collection of diesels, but we also got a good collection of industrials, even though only 1 is currently running. cant wait till our s160 steams again. that'll be a real beast of a loco!
