Actually, the Panama Limited was an all Pullman overnight train between Chicago and New Orleans and the City of New Orleans was its all coach daytime sister.  I enjoyed your videos on the trains.

i found a website a while back where someone has a recording of the nathan p3-13524 horn that i.c. used on the e units. i was going to record the horn and try to load it in my loco sound chip but i cant find the web site. those nathan p3 cast horn that i.c. used sure sounded cool. i lived half a block from the i.c. main line in mccomb mississippi back in the 60's and 70's and loved hearing the city of new orleans panama limited creole and there was another passenger train that came through.

nice train , but the horn is not correct , all the IC e locos used the nathan p135r24 horn , these were slightly higher in pitch than other n p5 horns,i found a web page that has horn sounds and downloaded that tone to my sound board, i worked for IC during the 70's
