He's got great rhythm no doubt and "filling in" and still doing this well is awesome, but why does he never use anything but the crashes for his fills? Except that last big finish. It seems to be this way in most of his videos drumming for them. But like I said, still awesome.

@AlabamaIceman he's just not an overly technical player, which is almost entirely why he's famous for the way he drums. he barbarically smashes his cymbals as hard on the first song of a set as he does the last. some pretentious drummers end up thinking it's dumb, but dave is so far out of that mindset that i've heard him say he doesn't even know how to tune a drum set
