I liked some details on this opening, that symbolize the redemption of Chihiro. In 0:56, in the first opening Chihiro "dissolves" and in this version she is taken by Renji, her saver. In 1:01 and 1:06, in the first opening, the chains remain while Chihiro dissapears, in the final version, Chihiro remains and the chains are broken. This is one of the better animes I have watched in so much time.

Im glad I heard the english version first. I never woulda known about otherwise. I like it more than the japanese.
