  • good one

  • can a normal magnifying bosh and lome glass work?

  • @777teg

I don't know. Try it, maybe it works too.

  • @777teg did the normal magnifying bosh and lome glass work?

  • @777teg

Yes. But you will get false colour (Chromatic aberration) and the image will be upside down.

  • @MiCompre you just need to have another lens, like a telescope. then the image will be right-up again. simple. just play tricks with it, it's just playing with the light. ^^,

  • Thats a good idea I like the moovable focus!

  • @science1Matthew

  • @uuukay

It is in the end of this video. but my camcorder is bad and can't to capture the projected video.

  • @uuukay

What to use in a video?

  • does it depend on what box it is and if its a plastic magnefine glass

  • @MELVILIANS

    No, it doesn't depends.

I think it's better to use glass lens because it is clearly than plastic.

  • @kankintojax He want's to know what the specification of the lenz, like what size and what type.

  • @maxxsteall it looks like a condenser lens if I'm not mistaken, you can see it here newport.com/Aspheric-Condenser-Lenses/141055/1033/catalog.aspx

  • @maxxsteall

I think it is plano-convex lens, but I really don't know. Go to google and you will see how they look

  • @maxxsteall I used the square reading ones withought the light built in It works great I get at least a 15x15 inch screen,(best quality)

  • Yes, but it's enough to show video/photo

  • but the phone light will be week ... is that right ?

  • I think it will work, because a lot of projectors made like this are in Youtube.

  • @kankintojax I have a question. If you take any small LCD screen, remove the back-light and put a bright bulb behind it with a cooling fan so it wont overheat. Would this idea work?

  • @Unasigad yeah, there's actually a vid around here that shows a guy who took apart a laptop (LCD screen) and hacked it into an overhead projector... it was pretty sweet

  • @Unasigad yes but i would sugest u put like a material in front of te fan

  • from where did u get this lens ..bro..plz plz tell me

  • @ranajunaid100

My uncle gave me it. I think it's from the lights of car. But I have another two lens like this and they are from old projector.
