I saw the movie when it first came out and I was living in Marquette. Caught it again with my folks down in Wisconsin. Its one of my favorite movies, and this is a great song :D I miss da ol' UP; I wish I could get back there someday.

Such a great movie. i met a guy who was from escanaba, was 45, and hunted deer once. When my uncle informed me that in 31 years of faithful hunting, this man had yet to bag a whitetail with horns, i tried soooo hard not to laugh... a real-life buckless yooper lol! I dont give a crap what those Trolls say, U.P. got the best huntin in the great state of Michigan, hands down!
